It probably makes sense to compare it to CL3 RAM since it's slower than most CL2.5 RAM (2.5-4-4-8 vs. 2.5-3-3-8). If you look at it that way it's a good value. It can be overclocked a bit... my sample would run fine at 230MHz at the default 1.50V, but got errors at 240MHz. 100% of People (2/2) found this review helpful. Weaknesses: Slightly low timings, but nothing you'll notice too much. Summary: I got this memory for my new Compaq SR1710NX that I picked up for cheap $$$ and it only came with 256mb of RAM, I took out the old chip, threw these in there and it was good to go, I saw a major difference immediatly and haven't had any problems at all since. 4 stars for the slightly low timings 100% of People (2/2) found this review helpful. BIOS recognized it correctly with auto settings and the computer runs perfect with no errors. I'm not an overclocker so no comments there, but this is good solid memory for a value machine.
