Strengths: A very fast and powerful motor. Nice design.
Weaknesses: I haven't noticed one yet.
Summary: This coffee grinder is awesome. It is so fast and the motor is so powerful. It only takes about 10 seconds to grind 2 cups of coffee even though it says it may take 20 seconds. I can even make my favorite Turkish coffee with it. It has a nice design. This is the first time I have bought a Krups product and I really loved it. The quality of the product is obvious. I do not know why some people say it is hard to clean it! It is actually pretty simple to clean it. Just use a small piece of damp cloth or a small brush.

I would definitely recommend this little coffee monster to everybody.

Strengths: powerfull, fast, small footprint
Weaknesses: hard to clean, only can grind small volumes
Summary: I have been using this grinder for about a week now and have ground coffee with it multipal times. So far it has proved its self to be a great grinder quickly grinding the coffee in a matter of seconds. The downside to it though is that its size means it can only grind a limited number of beans at once and that it is hard to clean. On a plus note though the size makes it convinent to store in a cabnet or else leave on the counter due to its small footprint. I highly recomened this grinder to anyone who is looking for something to grind coffee with on a periodic basis; if you plan on using it though to grind coffee every day, or to grind large volumes I would personally recomend a larger coffee grinder.

Strengths: Easy to use coffee grinder. Strong and sturdy.
Weaknesses: None except that I wished the blade and cup was removable
Summary: This is an excellent grinder. The cup is made of brushed stainless steel. The blade is sharp and grinds almost anything - nuts, spices etc... A good multiple purpose machine . Works great and stictly no complains as it does what it suppose to. Previously I woned a Braun grinder. The problem with that unit was the cup was made of plastic, hence it had of wear and tear.

This is the second unit I am purchasing. I like it so much that I use one for coffee and the other for spices.

Strengths: Great to grind coffee and spice.
Weaknesses: Noisy; unable to take the blade out to clean
Summary: The Krups Coffee Grinder is great to grind coffee and spice but it takes sometime to get rid of the spice smell. I grind bread to clean up all those spices grinding.

I like it to use it for grinding nuts also. It did ok. It is best to get one for coffee and the other one for spices. I don't like when I have to clean up. I have to wipe it with a paper towel or a wet cloth. It needs to be wiped several times to clean up all those crumbs and dust from grinding.

This grinder is perfect for coffee lover who wants fresh ground coffee everyday.

Strengths: small, powerful motor easy off top.
Weaknesses: Difficult to clean, blades not removable.
Summary: The motor is powerful and it makes short work of my coffee beans. However, I have not used it for any other foods because it is rather difficult to clean. Overall, it is simple and efficient and we really love it.

Strengths: Fast, thorough, easy to use and clean, fairly inexpensive even for a Krups product.
Weaknesses: Noisy, especially if you allow it to sit on the counter while grinding (I hold it to shake and keep an even grind).
Summary: - I have bought a total of three of these: One I've used at home for over 12 years, and it's still humming! The internal blades are still sharp enough to do their grinding, and it's used at least twice a day. I grind in this grinder for at least 30 seconds to maximize the flavor output, and actually use fewer beans for a stronger flavor. I had a 'coffee snob' (I don't consider myself one) tell me the heat friction was degrading the flavor. Bah!

- The second one I purchased I took to work so I can grind a pot or two there (I share more than I drink). This last one I purchased and gifted to my parents because theirs (another brand) had failed, and they only had it for four years.

- FYI, have you heard anything about freezing coffee beans to maintain their freshness? It's a myth! DON'T do it unless you want to destroy your grinder blades! Same things happens to your teeth with ice cubes, and when they quickly defrost from the grinder friction, they will make a little coffee soup in there, bad juju for your internal grinder parts!

Strengths: Easy to use and clean
Weaknesses: More addictive to coffee than ever!
Summary: Love this little guy! For the longest time, my husband and I always used pre-ground coffee bought from the store. After purchasing this and grinding our own fresh for the first time, what a difference. Will never to back to buying pre-ground again. Much ease using this product and no problems with it.

Strengths: Simple to use. Simple to clean. Safe to use. (Doesn't work with out the lid fully on.) Powerfull
Weaknesses: Grind area isn't water proof. Not a big deal. just need to make sure you "fill it and dump the water" a few times to clean.
Summary: This grinder works great. I now grind fresh coffee every morning. It's quick and thorough. I'm looking forward to grinding fresh herbs in this as well.

Krup's did well with this one.

Strengths: decent design. strong motor
Weaknesses: unremovable blade
Summary: it's very sleek and fast to grind coffee because of strong motor.

it has decent modern style design.

however, it's hard to clean up since it doesn't allow to remove blade. you need a brush to remove whole residue when you change coffee type.

Strengths: This is an efficient grinder. Motor is strong enough to grind coffee, spices or nuts with ease. Even grinds are produced. Sleek design.
Weaknesses: It is somewhat tedious to clean. A small brush would help with this task.
Summary: The smell of freshly ground coffee in the kitchen in the morning is invigorating. If you are a coffee lover, grinding your own coffee not only makes better coffee but will save you money. This little gem of a grinder is a good investment!

Strengths: Super fast, easy to use, small, convenient
Weaknesses: Cleaning is a little tedious, but the strengths are so great I don't mind spending a little extra time cleaning.
Summary: I purchased this coffee grinder to grind wheat and flax and other grains. It's perfect for the small amounts required in recipes. This machine is so convenient and extremely fast, I'm very impressed with it so far.

Strengths: Not too loud, fast, simple, small, compact and top lid is dishwasher safe.
Weaknesses: A little hard to clean.
Summary: This is an excellent grinder. I used this to grind flaxseed and the seeds were quickly turned to powder. The only downside is that it is a little difficult to clean and I wonder if the remaining oil from the seeds will build up just under the blade (the hardest place to reach with a damp cloth). To solve this problem, I think I will try using a toothbrush to clean the hard-to-reach areas. Because it's a little tough to clean, I rated it four stars. Otherwise, it works well.

Strengths: cheap AND well built
Weaknesses: cannot remove blade for cleaning
Summary: This nice little grinder gets the job done. I usually grind in pulses to make sure the beans settle down to hit the blade, but that's to be expected. I don't know what more I could possibly expect from a grinder... except ease of cleaning.

The grinder smelled like machine oil when it arrived, so I gave it a good wipe with dishwashing detergent. The non-removable blade made it very difficult to do that. I would like to get it wiped once in a while, but the blade gets in the way. I usually choose to live with it rather than risk cutting my finger.

Strengths: Relatively quiet with large cup for inverting and transferring to coffee maker
Weaknesses: Requires inverting over sink since static electricity causes grains to stick to top and drop to counter otherwise
Summary: We love this little coffee grinder. We formerly owned a Braun which was similar, but bought this one by Krups when the Braun blades became dull after many years of use. We like this one better, because the cup on the top is larger and when we invert it we find a full cup holds exactly one-half the amount of grinds that we need for a full pot of coffee (12 cups). We like our coffee strong. This definitely does the job and because it is a simple machine little can go wrong. Since my husband is the coffee maker in our house, I am delighted to find that this Krups does not wake me up in the morning.
