Strengths: Great weapons, good character choice, nice big maps, great enemy A.I.
Weaknesses: Need a great gaming computer to run with graphics turned up and as many bots as posible.
Summary: To all that gave this game a bad rating saying the graphics aren't good and that it takes 20 mins to load the game-get a new computer or upgrade the one you have. I have a DELL 2400 series and it runs great on it. It takes me about 15-20 seconds to load a game. It also has very good graphics. If you are looking for a good FPS that you can hop in a tank, go shoot some people with it, hop out and get into a jeep and get to the other side of the map and hop in a jet fighter, then this game is for you. If that doesnt aply to you, get the game anyway. It has music from the vietnam age and you can also play them in any vehicle in the game. So if you want to fly a helecopter, fly a jet, drive a jeep, drive a tank or an array of other vehicles, then go out and get this game. If you dont but like FPS's then you go get it too. This is an all-around good game that i would recomend to any pc gamer.

Strengths: Great game play and so far better to play then BF1942. Love the music in the tanks. Nice touch.
Weaknesses: Weapons need a little work. Be nice to have a few other skins and weapons to use. What about a flamethrower or something cool.
Summary: I am running a AMD 2800+ XP with 512mgs of PC2700 RAM and have no problems with loading times. It runs great and is fun. Can't wait to see what BF V.2 will look like.

 Ho-Hum Strengths: It has the potential to be great, graphics are very nice
Weaknesses: Too many to list sad to say. They need to get over the Orwellian copy protection, it will get them sued. Account linkage is more of a mess than a Ten-year old would create.
Summary: It's almost pointless if the game-play itself is good at all. The rest of it is a mixture of super-paranoid copy protection mixed with account linkages that the game itself cannot even understand. They need to grow up a bit frankly, they are losing players due to this...
I played BF1942 and all it's mods for years, so I naturally love the ways they enhanced that, but they don't seem to understand the basics of running software on a computer outside their own testing facilities. I wouldn't pay 10.00 for software that was this unnecessarily twitchy and you honestly shouldn't either, maybe they will understand some fundamentals for BF3 and make the game run on a computer ads it should, rather than mess that they have released as though it were ready for the world. This is immature programming at it's best, the producer needs to take a lude and lighten up....

Strengths: Good new vehicles, fun to play, music is awesome! Jungle created well.
Weaknesses: Requires a very good computer. 1 GB of ram, good graphics card or it will lag, and be very choppy.
Summary: I bought this game right when it came out. What were my first thoughts? Awesome! I started playing it and my thoughts didn't really change. Even though this game needs a good computer. People need to realize games need more and more, better computers. Halflife 2 will need 5X as good as now.
The gameplay is fun. EA has done a very good job with the music. It really makes you feel like your in that time era. I would recommend this game to other players who liked BF:1942, but played DC a lot, to players who didn't like how the planes were so slow, the guns were so inacurate in 1942.
I say buy the game, and give it a shot!

Strengths: great graphics, new weapons and vehicles
Weaknesses: If you have anythign short of 1 GB of RAM, load time is long
Summary: This game is great! There is nothing cooler than getting a friend and yourself, hoping into a Cobra helicopter and just cruising along taking out guys while one of you flies and the other guns. I think the music is a great addition to the game. It really gets you into the late 60s early 70s time frame. I originally tried the game with 512 MB of RAM but upgraded to 1 GB due to the dramatic decrease in load time. Overall, one of the best games out right now.

Strengths: Good graphics and audio. The music is cool. The array of weapons is vast and many to choose from.
Weaknesses: Long load time. in multiplayer and single player mode, even if you have good RAM (1 Gig) & a good connection (DSL),the game skips occasionally -- you need plenty of RAM
Summary: The graphics are good and the developers made a strong attempt to include things in the game to make you feel as if in that era. The music & audio is good. The graphics are high end also, which eventually brought me motion sickness unlike lower end graphics games like counter-strike which I can play for hours. Make sure you have plenty of RAM as this game will tax your computer unless you have good memory. It is very similar to Battlefield 1942 in the gameplay & controls.

Strengths: excellent game, pretty good graphics,excellent online play, designed to play as if movies (developers said this from beggining), helicopters are easier to fly then desert combat so naturally great
Weaknesses: ai bugs me they seem to be able to know where u are no matter where, several little glitches, sky seems like its 8 colors
Summary: if you likes bf 1942 and u dont mind not having a completly realistic game ull like it, good music, glitches should be fixed with first patch face it every first release of a game is like this

Weaknesses: Takes twenty minutes to get past the splash screen befor game actually starts.
Summary: Once the game starts it runs fine. Havent played but twice since I bought it. Waiting for the game to begin is a royal pain. Im running Athlon 2500+, 1 gb pc2700 ram 2 80gig wd set in raid 0. No other games I have played do this. After waiting 20 min, start to lose interest Maybe theyll come up with a fix. Untill then, Im disappointed big time.

 DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. If you are buying this af ... Strengths: Few, nice but un-realistic graphics. Programmers did not research units involved or ALL weapons used. Way too many mistakes to be realistic.
Weaknesses: Research must have been accomplished while watching re-runs of 'Platoon'. Way too many mistakes on accuracy of battles and units involved.
Summary: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. If you are buying this after Battlefield 1942 and expecting the same quality and high level of programming, Don't. Very displeased on accuracy. No music on Battlefield 1942 so why is it used in Battlefield Vietnam.
