Strengths: Doubles as an MP3 player, 2MP camera, video capture, FM radio, big screen, IR port, Bluetooth, MP4 video playback, Memory is expandable, powerful processor
Weaknesses: No dedicated headphone jack, questionable keypad comfort
Summary: Overall, I am very pleased with this phone. I purchased it mainly for its MP3 playback and 2MP camera.
The Media Player:
Music and video playback is handled by a program called the "Media Player". It can play MP3's of various bitrates and MP4 videos that are 176x144 or smaller (keep the video bitrates around 200 and the FPS 15 or lower). There is an equalizer and a few simplistic playback modes. It is easy to create playlists and you can listen to music while doing other tasks on the phone. The FM radio is excellent. Sound from the external speaker is surprisingly crisp compared to most phones (which is great if you want to use your favorite song as a ringtone). However, you must buy a seperate headphone adapter or use the supplied earbuds for the best sound quality.
Games:
The K750i is capable of some nice 3D games and has wide support for different Java games (You can load your memory stick duo up with free games you find on the internet and install them your self).
The Camera:
An impressive 2MP camera is built into the K750i. Picture quality is great and there is a bright LED flash built in as well. You can capture video (in various quality settings) and take as many pictures as your Memory Stick Duo can hold (sticks up to 4GB are supported). There are a few decent settings to tweak for the camera such as a macro mode, night/day mode, self timer, time/date stamp, white balance, ect. A small mirror is below the lens for self portraits; both are protected by a sliding lens cover.
Software/File Browsing:
This phone also comes with a few built-in editors. There is the MusicDJ, which lets you create your own ringtones, the PhotoDJ, which allows for some very simplistic editing of photos, and VideoDJ, an interesting program that lets you make your own home videos with inserted text and graphics. The "File Manager" feature lets you easily browse all the files on your phone or memory stick duo. You can view pictures and play music directly from the file manager if you choose. There is a bit of load time for folders that contain images (when the preview function is on).
Standard Features:
Call quality is excellent and the phone gets great reception despite the lack of an external antenna. There is a speakerphone feature and bluetooth headsets are supported. The phone can hold 500 contacts, each with detailed information, their own picture that is displayed when they call, their own ringtone, and voice commands. An in-depth organizer is available if you need it, along with a stopwatch and calculator. WAP and instant messaging are included.

Strengths: Features packed. 2.0 MP camera w/Auto Focus. Great sound quality.
Weaknesses: File transfer from PC a bit slow. Proprietary headset connections (only Sony Ericsson headsets can be connected to the phone).
Summary: 2006-06-15 11:50:42 The rating (for now) of 'Highly Recommended' is based on my first impression of the product. Vast improvement over my previous SE phone include: Faster response when navigating; Key pads not as stiff; Sharper display; and the main featured star, 2.0 mega pixel camera with auto focus. The phone call sound quality is superior. You don't hear the person on the other end of the conversation as a FLAT voice typical of a phone call. On the third day of use, the phone would not power up. It is being RMA'd and hopefully the replacement will fare better. (will update on that). If you have read reviews suggesting the use of a 'better' headse such as the Sony Ericsson HPM-70, SAVE YOUR MONEY. The included headset is far better. The HPM-70 does provide a better fit with the "In Ear" buds design (comes in 3 sizes) but the sound is flat (no bass) and the volume weak. Maybe I got a defective one? You can take a chance and try one.

Strengths: Mp3/m4a and fm stereo music player, 2MP camera, easy to use.
Weaknesses: There's no 800/850 frequency band, so reception is reduced in US;
Keys are too smooth and close together.
Summary: 2006-04-10 02:04:29 I got this phone because I wanted an mp3 player while bike-riding and thought a camera and cellphone would be cool too. Here are some notes from my experience. It also plays m4a files (better quality than mp3), so I can export several CDs into m4a and put them onto a 2GB Memory Stick that I bought for it ($90). The bluetooth is not in stereo, so I bought a $4 adapter w/microphone to plug in a decent pair of normal headphones. It's not designed for the American market where the 900 band is not used, so only the 1900 band is used. Where I live, only a couple providers support this band. Most use the 800/850 band, which is not available on this phone. In fact, if you go to the SonyEricsson website for support on this phone, you cannot find it under the list of US phones. I looked under Carribean(EN) phones to find support for it. It still works okay for me. My 800/850 band cellphone (SonyEricsson t226) works better indoors, but I haven't noticed much difference outdoors. In short, the music and camera are great but the tri-band reception is not designed for the US market so there may be a compromise.

Strengths: Bluetooth, Great Color Display, Best 2MP camera phone, Expandable Memory Card, Great Battery Life
Weaknesses: Buttons are hard to push
Summary: I have had this phone for 6 months, and I have to say it is one of the best looking phones on the market. The phone has great reception. I love the bluetooth which allows me to connect to my bluetooth headset. The color display on this cell phone and battery life puts other phones to shame. The expandable memory is great if you want to add lots of music to this phone. If you want a great looking and functioning GSM phone, this is one of the best out there.

Strengths: 2.0 Megapixel Camera, Mp3 compatible, MemoryStick Duo Compatible, Very Fast
Weaknesses: Feels a little cheap (plastic)
Summary: When I first opened this baby, I was amazed. The camera takes AMAZING photos for a Cell Phone! (You can see one attached). It has very simple syncing with PCs, all you need to do is drag and drop the files onto the MemoryStick Duo. It even comes with a starter stick of 64 MB, but I think that I'm gonna upgrade that. My only complaint is that the battery cover isn't that tight, so when I am typing on the keypad, it squeaks in and out. I think that I might have to get a silicone case for it to stop this, and to protect the screen. Overall, great phone. Sony Ericsson has done well!

K750i Review
Strengths: Nice camera, MP3 player and cell phone all in one!
Weaknesses: Small screen, no 3G function, bad quality video capture!
Summary: It's really a great phone so far in the market. But there's still room to improve as compare to Nokia N90 or Sharp 903sh. The screen is quite small and it doesn't have playback function for MP4 files. It's not a 3G function and hence it's video capture quality is also not that great! However, it's better than most camera phone out in the market and for the price it's a great value for a phone that can become your little digital cam and ipod!

Still has a lot of problems
Strengths: * Easy to upgrade memory via card
* Easy to understand menu system
* The best mobile phone camera up to date (still photo)
Weaknesses: * Joystick breaks easily
* Headphones break easily
* Quality of sound generally too poor
* Input socket (for chargers, headphones etc) often malfunction and need replacement
Summary: Overall quality is an issue, even though this phone is now quite old. The first version of this, in spring 2005, had all sorts of issues with joysticks breaking, charge socket not working etc, and it did get somewhat better. But they still have quality issues. As with most SE phones you should never buy the first phone in a new platform. The k750i still amazingly has one of the best still photo lenses and settings in the market today, when it comes to mobile phones. For video quite a few are better, like the Samsung z710. I would not buy this phone today. If you wanted a SE, go for something slightly newer, where some of the issues have been removed.

Sony Ericsson K750i cell phone
Strengths: Cell that has MP3 Player, camera, video,FM radio, speaker, and big screen. Wanted a cell with alot of smart features. Gives you 9 hrs of battery is very good. Most cell phones give you less than 5 hrs
Weaknesses: I didnt like the regular color of the screen, I like the Nokia 6680 cell that have nice color screen. Nokia have nice color screens.
Summary: Camera works fine, keypad works fine, Dont really like the look of this cell. Not happy with this phone. I like to have a cell that makes me feel happy with everything.

Strengths: 2.0 Megapixel camera, good reception (in my area at least), clear display
Weaknesses: Looks like any other Sony Ericsson
Summary: Honestly I bought this phone because of the 2.0 megapixel camera. I must admit that the pictures come out excellent. As far as the phone goes, I have not been too impressed with it but it does its job well. I don't even remember once using the walkman feature since I already have an iPod. If you are considering this phone just for the camera, there is a new nokia reported to have a 3.2 megapixel camera so waiting on that might be a better bet.
