Keeps odors in. Inner plastic ring keeps bag from falling in. Can easily remove top for larger objects. Lightweight! Weaknesses: Cannot attest to power consumption yet; Opens if you pass by, so situate carefully. Parts - were inner plastic band to break, have no idea how to replace. Summary: The auto-open feature is a little unsettling at first perhaps, but I really appreciate it when I'm holding something messy and don't want to touch the lid. Weaknesses: replacing the bag and using the inner ring to secure bag is a bit cumbersome but manageable. Summary: Do not place trashcan in a busy area. The slightest edge of clothing or body part may make the lid constantly open and close and that becomes annoying. justinetn Member Since: Feb 2007 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 2 Months	Perfect Fit Strengths: Compact, infrared works great. Weaknesses: Doesn't hold as much trash as larger cans. Summary: Bought this because I needed it to fit in a particular space and it fits perfectly. Absolutely love it. They have it at Costco now for about half what I paid for it so will probably get another one. The only thing I have noticed is when we have parties and someone stands in front of it (with their back to it), the lid opens and stays open.
