Strengths: Cordless shaving; gives a pretty close shave

Summary: I am a first time user of electric shaver. I find that the shaves with traditional shaves are much closer. Having said that, I am getting pretty close shave with this shaver as well. The triple blade technology delivers a pretty close shave.

One of the prime requirements I had was to buy a wet/dry shaver so that I can use some cream / foam while I shave. This shaver is NOT a wet/dry shaver. I was misled by some reviews on the internet. So keep this in mind when you purchase this shaver.

This shaver can be cleaned under running water and that makes it very easy to clean the shaver. At 13000 RPM, the motor is one of the fastest that I came across. The cordless operation makes shaving very easy. The charge time at about an hour is very fast and the charge holds good for abt 8 shaves. The battery monitor is very handy.

The pop up trimmer is very useful. At the price that I got this for, this is very good value for money and given these variables, this would be the dry shaver I would go for.

Good shaver

Strengths: high speed, 1 hour charge, cordless operation

Weaknesses: can't wet shave

Summary: This is a very good shaver, it shaves very clean. I think it's same as march 3. It's easy to clean and the battery last about 6 shaves.3 stage battery monitor is useful, it can indicates battery charge level, so you can know how much power remains.

Strengths: Close, smooth shave due to high RPM motor. Pop up trimmer.

Weaknesses: Not a wet dry. Somewhat noisy.

Summary: Overall, this is a very nice shaver. It has a high power, 13,000RPM motor, which compares favorably to other shavers in its class (Braun's Syncro shavers have 8,500RPM motors). It shaves close, though not as close as a blade. Battery life is pretty good, and it has a quick 5-minute charge that will allow you to shave once.

Due to the high RPM motor, this thing does tend to whine a bit. It's slightly louder than the Norelco it replaced. Also, this isn't a wet dry shaver - you can't shaver in the shower. You can run the head under tap water to clean it, but that's it.

Given the chance, I would probably spend another $30 and get one of Panasonic's wet dry models.

Strengths: Nice machine. Quiet. Easy to use. Relatively simple to clean. Good display on battery power. Easy to charge.

Weaknesses: Shave is good but not perfect. Maybe I just have not quite mastered it yet.

Summary: Overall I'm pleased with this unit. It is well worth the low price that I paid so no regrets there. I shaved with a razor until now so it is taking some getting used to.
