Strengths: Excellent home phone system. Add-on handsets requireing no phone wires up to 8 even out to garage is ++++
Weaknesses: Handset can be set down and lost once the battery is exhausted. Frustrating. Makes for having to buy addn'l handsets w/redundant bases.
Summary: Excellent phone system for home or single line business. Add-on handsets require no phoneline wiring and reach 100'+. Up to eight handsets per base with the only drawback we found being that if a handset is accidentally laid down, not in it's cradle, it will lose it's battery life and may be near impossible to locate. Forcing oneself to utilitze the handy belt clip until back inside near a cradle would be wise.

Strengths: Very easy to set up extra handsets; panasonic has long lasting batteries; very good feature set
Weaknesses: No headset included
Summary: I had originally bought the base unit because of its good mix of features and 5.8 Ghz band. Had it for about 6 months with no complaints. I just bought extra handsets. The handsets were a breeze to configure. With speakerphone on handset and long lasting battery, these units are great.

Strengths: Complete range of services of base unit are accessible. Reception is noise-free. Remote speakerphone feature.
Weaknesses: Small buttons. Complex feature menus.
Summary: This phone has functioned perfectly since purchase. Activation was simple and straightforward. It is completely interchangeable with the handsets provided with the base unit, and it permits access to all the services that are part of the sytem capabilities. Iam satisfied and will purchase additional sets when the need arises.

Strengths: Able to copy address book from main unit to each cordless handset you have. Able to call any of the handsets from any handset using Intercom. Multiple mailboxes. Speakerphone on each handset.
Weaknesses: With Caller ID feature installed, each handset shows message "Recieved Calls". Reviewing this list on 1 handset, doesn't clear the message from all handsets and base unit. You have to check each one.
Summary: This is a really great phone! My previous phone was also a Panasonic and I wasn't so thrilled with that one. I was a little hesitant about buying a Panasonic phone again. After owning this new phone for 6 weeks, I can honestly say that Panasonic has made great strides in improving their equipment and features. Before I bought this phone, I did a lot of comparison shopping as far as price and features. I was not able to find any other phone out their on the market that was able to compete with this phone. I especially like the feature that allows you to copy the address book from the base unit to each handset. You can either copy the entire phone book or just one entry. This is a really important feature to me because I own 3 handsets and didn't want to have to type all 30 entries in my phone book into each phone.

Strengths: Terrific reception, Ability to transfer phone list among other phones and base, Speaker phone in handset
Weaknesses: Supplied batteries are Ni-Cad's so they develop "memory" problems. I've had to replace two phones due to LCD screens fading out. Another phone had a bad jack for the headset.
Summary: I replaced the Ni-Cad's with Nickel Metal Hydride batteries from Energizer (ER-P511). These batteries last much longer between charges and do not develop "memory" problems (i.e. the phone is unable to hold a long charge).

I purchased this phone because the Siemens 2.4 Ghz system that I had conflicted with my Siemens 2.4 Ghz wireless computer network. There were clicking noises on the phone when I used it. And, yes each Siemens unit blamed the other one for the interference problems. With this 5.8 Ghz, I had no problems.

One problem with the phone is that you can only listen to voice mails stored on the base unit. You cannot delete messages from the remote phones. You must go back to the base unit.

Speaker phone is very good. "Booster" feature allows me to crank up the power when I go outside to use the phone.

Strengths: Multi-Line conferencing, able to transfer phonebook to additional handsets, good range and clarity.
Weaknesses: slightly bulky with antenna, "talk" and "off" buttons not lighted.
Summary: Excellent phone system that is user friendly. Multi-line conferencing and the ability to transfer phonebooks is a major advantage compared to Uniden's 5.8 GHz phone system.

Strengths: Signal and Reception. Ring Tones. Design and Features.
Weaknesses: Battery Life. 4.5h, Signal Boost Mode 3h. No Blue Backlight.
Summary: Highly recommended Phone a True 5.8GHz with alot of nice features. With the 2nd hand set its like having 3 phones in one house. Since you can use the base system to make and recieve calls. I wish Panasonic would make the handset with a built-in antenna rather than the current that stick out, could be due to better reception design. Would also be nice if it could hold mp3 and use mp3 as custom ring tones. And a SD card slot would also be nice features for a up coming model in future models I would like to connect it to my laotop and I know people will find this stupid however to have a phone jack on the handset so I can connect, to the internet via dial-up with places with no broadband services thus connecting wirless via cordless signals. With Security encryption and call alert. No need to use you mobile when a cordless can do it down the road. Other than what is on the market its the best hands down.

Strengths: This model has worked great and I continue to add to my central unit. I have 4 remotes and will finally get another 2 or so remotes.
Weaknesses: The standard battery only last a year or so. Replaced with higher grade, and everything is back to normal.
Summary: Best cordless phone we have owned. Never had any issues with functions or usability. Goes around concrete walls and never had any reception problems. They offer newer models, this one has worked just fine.

Strengths: expansion headset
Weaknesses: expansion headsets no longer sold by manufacturer! Major rip off if you bought the base and need to replace a handset down the line. They should make newer handsets compatible with older bases.

Strengths: As Mentioned in previous reviews. I bought this after going through 5 other phones in a 3 year timespan. I've not bought another phone since. No interference from anything very clear and easy to use
Weaknesses: My 900 phone could reach a 1/2 mile from the base, this one goes a few hundred feet outside. Handset easily lost when battery dies is also one of my concerns... teenagers you know!
Summary: I loved this phone so much I insisted that my parents buy one as well as an additional unit. They chose to move up to the 5200 series because of handicaps... but no more static or lost calls from their end. Reception is best I've had from a phone, use is easiest. I would HIGHLY recommend this phone or phone series to anyone! Regarding the loss of headset when battery dies... I wish the handset would beep more and louder when battery becomes low... it would give a chance to find it before it dies.

Strengths: Very quick and easy installation, great battery life, long range, useful intercom feature.
Weaknesses: Hard-to-use speed dial.
Summary: This is the second extention handset for the same base that I have purchased. I am very happy with it because of the great sound quality, and how easy it is to add additional handsets. I live on the fourth floor of my building, and it works just outside on the sidewalk. Once an additional handset is added to the base, it is assigned a number visible in the upper-right corner. This is the handset ID that you need for the VERY USEFUL intercom. I would definitely recommend this handset.

Strengths: Excellent clarity and range, Handset has all the features present on the base, Ergonomic design.
Weaknesses: Relatively shorter battery life, costly for an add-on device.
Summary: I am quite satisfied with this phone, which is one of the best available. Comes with the satisfaction from a renowned manufacturer. Would certainly recommend this product to anyone who cares for quality, design and features.

Strengths: It is a major improvement over the AT&T it replaced that I find the weakness very minor. Excellent reception.
Weaknesses: Perhaps handset could be a bit lighter. Sometimes I hit something that will disconnect the call. I have not deterimed the cause.
Summary: There some great features. One can recall meassages on the handset. This means that I do not have to go to the answering machine (main base) on the second floor and can listen to messages as soon as I enter my home. Copying from one hand set to the other. The announcement is clear. The recorded voice giving me the info. is precise. The reception is excellent.

I have already recommended this product to a friend.

Strengths: Unbeatable reception. Many great features.
Weaknesses: Missing speed dial, and distinctive ring features.
Summary: Along with the best possible reception, are some great features. The best of which is the versatile Intercom system. It allows you to talk or transfer between handsets, share or prevent sharing of calls, and monitor a room with the handset speaker phone.
