Cost Comparison With Other Entry Level Models By LG, Samsung, Sharp, and Sony.
Weaknesses: NONE. This TV meets or exceeds any reasonable expectation a buyer should have when purchasing a entry level 52" LCD from any of the major brands.
Summary: In late Febuary I purchased this TV online for $1199, including free shipping and no sales tax. I had done tons of research both online and at local retail showrooms before I placed my order. I could not be more pleased with this TV. The picture is excellent, and I would rate the sound as very good for a TV.
All the major brands offer excellent entry level models, but you will not find any of their 52" models for under $1400 and very few for under $1500. At $1199 my Toshiba was less than most of the name brand 46" entry level models.
In these difficult economic times we are all looking for products that give us the best return in value for our hard earned dollars. This TV achieves that goal.
