Not the Right Headset for Treo 650
Strengths: Design, Comfortable, Simple to Pair, Good Sound Quality, Volume Control.
Weaknesses: Does not work as Headset for Music Playback, interence from laptop.
Summary: I love this headset with one major exception. I have a Treo 650 with a 2GB card loaded with MP3's and I cannot get the BT250v to work as a simple headset for music playback.
I have called Technical Support to no avail. As much as I hate it, it looks like I am going to have to return it.
I see that there is a new BT500 that is coming out and am waiting to hear from Jabra if it will allow for music playback since it is bluetooth 1.2 compliant.
I hate to only give it two stars but "It works but I would not purchase it again"

Strengths: Good sound quality, long battery life, comfortable
Weaknesses: Static at short distances, including moving the arm between phone and earpiece
Summary: I enjoy this bluetooth earpiece a great deal. The earpiece is comfortable, easy to connect, and has good sound quality. Sometimes people complain about echoing, but few request that I repeat myself. The headset has volume control and can also be turned on and off using a click button. The vibrate mode is good for silent awknowledgement that a phone call is coming. It's great for 55 dollars.

Strengths: Excellent volume level. Like the "in the ear canal" option to increase volume level. Comfortable to wear. Once in place on the ear, it is very secure and doesn't give the feeling it might fall off (as some other headsets do).
Weaknesses: Sometimes drops connections to my Mortorola Razr (Motorola 850 Bluetooth never did this) for no good reason. Sometimes tough to get on the ear. Doesn't have great range away from the cell phone.
Summary: Overall I'm pleased with the unit. It is a little larger (and heavier) than I like but it is still fairly comfortable to wear. I traded out a Motorola H850 because I just couldn't get enough volume on it. The "on the ear" design of the Motorola was nice and it was certainly small and comfortable but if you can't get enough volume to hear on it, sort of defeats the purpose of having one. No complaints in that area with the Jabra BT250V. Once I get it on my ear and into the ear canal, I can hear clearly. It drops the Bluetooth signal at ~ 15 ft from the phone so it doesn't have the best range but for the way I use my headset, it works fine. Overall I found it to be a good unit, especially for the $43 I paid.

Strengths: Comfortable (takes getting used to) almost invisible, easy automatic pairing, good battery life, good sound, vibration alert
Weaknesses: Limited (only 2) styles of "minigel" earbuds supplied. No carrying case (will not trust carrying in cradle) Manual too skimpy - does not explain the minigel selection. Rubber lining too hard.
Summary: This device practically changes the cellphone experience. The vibrating alert and one button call answer is great while shopping or driving. I use it with the Motorola V710 which also enables me to "name dial" or "digit dial" or redial last number. Sometimes it is very comfortable enough to forget I wear it, but other times it hurts a little. I believe a softer cushion liner would have solved it, possibly even a replaceable cushion. There should be a greater variety of minigel shapes available as ear shapes vary so much from person to person.

Strengths: Extremely comfortable and lightweight. Very easy to setup and use, paired easily with my Nokia 3650. The microphone works very well, and the speaker is amazing (I use it to listen to music at work).
Weaknesses: I really can't come up with many problems. The battery lasts about three days between charges, which seems impressive for it's size.
Summary: I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality bluetooth headset. This headset also was the best pick in a review on TechTV. It works great, and really allows a level of freedom I never thought possible when talking on the phone. I can leave my phone on the desk and wander up to 25 feet away before the signal starts to break up. And with the voice tag autodial feature of my Nokia 3650, I don't even have to touch my phone. One push of the button on the headset, and I can make calls!

Strengths: Excellent sound quality
Weaknesses: Some minor flaws
Summary: I recently got my first Bluetooth phone and based on a few reviews I read online and the recommendation of the phone-store owner I picked this headset. I use it with a Motorola Razr. They work together quite well. This is an ear-bud type headset meaning it's slightly less comfortable but far more stable and better sounding than the flat ones. If there were a warning with this headset it would be not to buy it online. Mine came, in a sealed package, with the wrong power adapter. It was very easy to remedy this in the phone store, but would have been difficult had I bought it online.
Pros:
*Excellent sound quality both for myself and the person with whom I'm speaking
*The volume can be increased so that the conversation is clear even with background noise
*Very easy to set up with the phone
*Seems to have decent battery life so far
*Seamlessly works with the phones voice-dial feature
*Answer, end and voice-dial all done with a single button
Cons:
*After a few hours (more than 2) of wearing the headset it irritates the backside of my ear.
*No way to tell how much battery charge I have left
*The phone and headset must be kept on the same side of the body for the best sound
*I would really love it if this earpiece had a USB mini charger and didn't need a charging cradle

Strengths: Stylish, lightweight. Decent battery life. Very good sound quality and volume. If anything, I have to turn the volume down as it distorts when turned up too high.
Weaknesses: Somewhat difficult to pair at first with my Blackbery 7290. Occasionally loses connection for no apparent reason. Awkward when placing on ear (definitely do not attempt to do this while driving!).
Summary: 2006-09-18 17:24:06 All in all, I like this headset, but it does have some problems.
Ear gel does not go into ear canal, but rests just outside, however, sound quality is still very good.
It's extremely annoying when the connection to my cell phone drops because I have to go back into the phone menu to establish connection.
Vibrate feature is good and strong.
The volume control and multi-function button are very awkward to use while the headset is on my ear. It's hard to get used to where these buttons are located and it feels like I'm pushing the headset off, so I choose to adjust the volume from my phone instead. Rather than on the back of the headset, these controls should be on the side of the unit. That way,it would feel more stable when you push on the buttons.
If you want a bluetooth headset that may not be perfect but looks cool, and has great sound quality, check this one out.
Hint: Don't pay full price in the chain stores. Check out Pricegrabber first and you'll get the best deal.

Strengths: Comfortable. Vibrate feature is nice.
Weaknesses: Larger than Motorola's version.
Summary: Reception is fine for this unit and it works well. My only complaint would be the overall size. Others like Motorola make a slightly smaller unit. The vibrate function works well and sound quality is excellent.

Strengths: Great reception and clear strong sound.
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I like this headset more than the 350. It fits around the ear better and is easier to hear. The fit is comfortable and the quality of the sound is outstanding.
