Strengths: Excellent pictures, good price, good looks
Weaknesses: Can't use DVD+ Media
Summary: I received my recorder on time and in working condition. I bought this mainly to transfer my VCR tapes to DVD. It does a great job of copying VCR to DVD and is easy to use. The product manual directions are clear and with pictures. I recommend this to anyone who does not need a lot of fancy add ons that you will never use.

Strengths: Excellent pictures, good price, good connections, good looks.
Weaknesses: No recordable hard disk, but no real grumble at this price.
Summary: I bought this product 3 days ago, and I am very impressed with the excellent quality of both dvd and vcr recordings from tv. The quality of copy, from vcr to dvd is very good. I am also pleased with its ability to play divx video. The manual is easy to understand, and the remote control is easy to use. It has all the connection options I need.

3 Star ReviewVR-320 review
Strengths: Very easy to use VHS to DVD copy. Good VHS picture quality. A lot of useful features.
Weaknesses: Noisy when turned on. Slow start-up, up to 30 seconds before ready. DVD fast forward and backward (in view mode) is really slow and poor.
Summary: I bought this 2 months ago and sold it today

because I was not satisfied with it. It is slow, noisy

and the remote is clumsy.

On the other hand, it was very handy for copying old

VHS cassettes to DVDs. And the picture quality of DVD and VHS playback is good.

1 Star ReviewPoor manufacturing quality
Strengths: None
Weaknesses: Poor quality
Summary: I've had 2 of these DVD Recorders, neither of them worked out of the box. On the first one the VCR door would not open when you ejected a tape and on the other the DVD tray would never open.

1 Star ReviewHorrible product!
Strengths: Attractive looking
Weaknesses: Very poor quality product
Summary: I am on my third 320 model since Christmas. Purchased the first with hesitation as it was previously opened. It wouldn't read a single dvd. Exchanged it for #2. #2 wouldn't read any dvd all the way through without freezing up, skipping, or getting a shifted picture. Exchanged it for #3 which ended up having the same problem. Note that with both #2 and 3, each time I tested the dvd on Samsung model 4600 and never had any problems. Model 320 is a horrible product. It is ultra-sensitive to any minor problems with dvd's and if you can't rent a dvd, what use is the player?! Pass on this product and save yourself the headaches!

Strengths: Price value. Good design.
Weaknesses: Power On/Off mode indicator. Noise when on.
Summary: Overall a great product. Not sure why they did not make the Power on/off indicator display not obvious. It uses the same display color (just darker when on) and its hard to know whether the unit of On or off ! More noise when on.

Strengths: easy to use
Weaknesses: none yet
Summary: This combo is excellent so far. I have not tried to copy VCR tapes to DVD yet but I will, yet so far I am very happy with the rest of it. I would recommend it!
