I have 3 others: RCA Lyra, Archos AV120 & Creative ZEN. But I think this is the best of all 3. This device is a lilte smaller than the ZEN and larger than Lyra & Archos AV120. It doesn't requires re-sync everytime you added new songs like the Lyra & Zen. It plays DIVX movies that I ripped thru the years, just copy to the device & that's it. I haven't try the Record feature yet. Charging the battery is quite fast too, about 3 hrs & it has auto-shutoff feature. Nice. 100% of People (10/10) found this review helpful. Strengths: 1)Good video playback. 2)Can be used as a TV Tuner. 3)Spare Batteries are available cheap. 4)Built-in Video Recorder . 5)Can transfer digital photos off CF/SD cards while travelling away from home . Weaknesses: 1)Sized. like a brick !! 2)No FM Tuner . 3)Pretty much without support as company seems to have gone under . Summary: I have used this device for close to 45 days now , and i am glad that i bought it . It does what it is supposed to do . I played videos that i recorded using this thing (with it's cradle) , and also divx files that i created on my computer . They all play fine . The built-in speaker's are good for their size . Weaknesses: NA Summary: It is a smart purchase. An inexpensive quality product with 30 GB hard disk and 3.5 inch screen. Even it has slots for compact flash and SD memory card.
