Strengths: Portable, Built-To-Last, Improved Screen.
Weaknesses: A bit small for Adult Hands, No Universal AC Adapter, No regular Headphone Jack.
Summary: Got one of this as an early present for myself for Christmas. Been using the old first generation Game Boy Advance for a long time. The newly improved back-lit screen prompted me to "upgrade" my set to one of this (although I should have changed to a regular SP it a long time ago...). Had a choice between this or a Game Boy Micro, as both have improved back-lit screens. Picked up this one instead because of the attractive price. Also, felt that the Game Boy Micro may be a bit too small to be playing comfortable ... hands get strained after a while. This is therefore the next size that would be of less discomfort, although I still prefer the first generation GBA, as it is the right size for adult hands (like the current Nintendo DS or PSP). This is a very portable little thing. Slips into my jeans pocket easily. The newly improved screen has a more vivid color, as compared to the older GBA SP that I've seen. Everthing else seems the same. Box comes with the system and a 110V AC Adapter. Just wished that its a universal adapter, as this is supposed to be a portable handheld gaming device, and one might carry it overseas sometimes. The lack of a regular headphone jack makes it a disadvantage. Other than that, This Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP is really an old standby of hand helds, and worth every penny because of its huge library of available games (which includes the old Game Boy and Game Boy Color - The Game Boy Micro is not backward compatible with the later two).
