Strengths: Durable, easy to use and clean, warming feature
Weaknesses: A bit intimidating in appearance
Summary: I had a digital crock pot that finally died. Of course, I then had to replace it. I am used to the "crock pot" brand and its durability, but I have to admit that this one had me a bit intimidated at first...all those buttons. Turns out, I was scared for nothing. The pot allows you to set the actual time you'd like the food to cook; my previous model only had a selector switch for high (4-6 hours) or low (8-10 hours). Being able to choose how long your food cooks is nice; the timer is in increments of 30 minutes. The pot also has a "warming" feature, so when the cook time is done, your food remains warm. The stainless steel finish is nice; it's easy to clean. I wondered about the "hinged lid" since I'm a klutz and could foresee burning myself or dumping something, but the lid is easily removed, if you want to do so. Otherwise, it goes up far enough to not be in the way of ladling out foods. The crock and cover are dishwasher safe, so clean up is a snap. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and got a good deal so I'm happy all the way around. I'd recommend this product.
