Weaknesses: It did not hold up. The Waste King Gourmet Garbage disposal (Model SS8000 1HP) Started leaking at the bottom after 14 months of domestic use. Summary: I think this disposal has an 8 year in-home warrantee. Now I must contact a repairman to replace it. Weaknesses: Doesn't look as sleek as Insinkerator models, but who really looks under your sink? Summary: This has to be one of the best deals on the market for garbage disposals. Just with the lifetime warranty itself makes it worth choosing the 1 HP over other Waste King models. Works like a champ. Price is great for overall value! Weaknesses: None. Summary: My neighbor stopped by to see how our finished kitchen was, and we were preparing dinner. I used the disposal, and when I did, my neighbor asked "What kind of disposal did you get?
