Weaknesses: None Summary: 2005-08-23 23:57:44 I searched the web for reveiws on this sub for a week and found none other than pioneer did what they said they did. I bought one hoping it was true and it was dont let the title SPL fool you they sound good to. They are taking 1000 watts easily I planned on buying another of they were any good but it is so loud I doubt that I could, and keep my hearing. also I used the pioneers recomended size enclosure for a ported box not there max size enclosure (which increases the decibles it can produce). Weaknesses: NONE!!!! Summary: I own and installed two of these subs in a 97 carolla and i have never heard anything louder in my city no joke. these subs pound so hard that i cracked the windshield of a 94 cadillac seville. they're so powerful they can handle up to a 4000 watt MTX amp and still ask for more power. i would never buy anything else but pioneer. for real.
