Strengths: For some - small design, ease of set-up, more features than you'll probably need
Weaknesses: For some - small design, plus speakerphone volume gets low for a second or two in the middle of a conversation
Summary: 2005-10-05 10:16:23 I have had this phone for a couple of days, so I can't comment too much on its durability. But my previous phone was a Uniden TRU448, and I liked that one very much, so I have the utmost confidence in Uniden products. I chose this phone for a few reasons: 1) I like Uniden phones, 2) it had the three phones I was looking for at a reasonable price, and 3) the reviews I read were mostly positive.
Some people might not like the small design. It really isn't any bigger than a non-flip cell phone. I had heard that the phone was a smaller design, but I had no idea it would be this small! It does take a little getting used, but I like it.
The only fault I have found so far is in the speakerphone. The clarity and volume and great, but the volume periodically gets low for a second or two and then goes back to normal. I contacted Uniden and they said it's because there is a mic on both sides of the phone, and that's what's causing the interference. They suggested I turn down the volume, but then you can't hear anything anyway. Generally, the speakerphone is loud and clear, but you'll have to put up with this minor inconvenience.
I have given this phone an overall rating of 4. I would have rated it a 5, but in all fairness I haven't had enough opportunity to see how the product handles over an extended period of time. Plus, I didn't have another brand phone to compare it to, so I can't do a personal comparison. But I can say that so far the phone has lived up to my expectations, and then some.

Strengths: Price. packed with features.
Weaknesses: Inability to use hands free for intercom. Ugly orange backlight.
Summary: We picked this set of phones up for about $70 so it was pretty good value for 3 phones and an answering machine. The sound is good as well as the range. I like the ability to name the handsets so you know which one to call while using the intercom. You can also transfer phonebooks to another handset so you only have to set it in one of them. The only things I didn't like were that you aren't able to use the hands free speaker to talk while using the intercom and the ugly orange backlight. Durability may be an issue for some people as well since these phones are plastic and don't look like they can take much of a beating.

Strengths: 3 handsets, good range
Weaknesses: small size
Summary: This phone is a great bargain for the money. It has several useful features and comes with 3 handsets.
the only drawback is possibly the small size if you are used to full sized phones. It a little bit bigger
than most cell phones.

Strengths: 3 handsets (only main unit requires the phone jack), sleek/lightweight design, excellent clarity, lots of options.
Weaknesses: None to speak of.
Summary: I've owned an older Uniden cordless phone & decided to update. The old phone was over 5 years old & worked perfectly (just a bulkier design), so wheh I saw this model on sale I took advantage of the offer & haven't been let down. As stated under "strengths", this phone offers a sleekl/lightweight design with lots of options for one low price (even when not on sale).

Strengths: Speakphone,3 handsets, battery indicator and strength.
Weaknesses: small size
Summary: We really like this phone. It has so many features, most of which we haven't really used yet, but most importantly we get good reception on our calls, something that has been a problem with many other cheap phones that we have used in the past.
The adjustable ring tones and speakerphone on the the handsets are a plus.

Strengths: Speakerphone, loads of features
Weaknesses: Size takes some getting used to
Summary: I just recently purchased this phone set for my parents new home. It works great and its expandability to four phones makes it so much more convenient for them. No more running around to answer the phone. There's lots of nice features on the phone, many of which I don't think they would use, but its there if needed. I was thought the phone would be bigger; its really not much bigger than my first cell phone. With a full size phone you can sort of grip it between your head and shoulder (to have both hands free), but the speakerphone makes up for that. Its just that if you've done that for years it takes a little getting used to.

Strengths: I like everything about the phone. The size, the way it lights up for easy I.D. Caller checking. All the features are great.
Weaknesses: There are no weaknesses that I can find with this system.
Summary: I would like to say that setting up this phone system was so very simple. Setting the answering machine and all the other features like the address book and number of rings, etc... was easy. I would reccommend this phone to anyone who needs a phone with needs to call or monitor other rooms in a house.
