Strengths: Easy to set up. easy to use remote control.
Excellent sound for movies, radio, cd's etc.
Can't beat the price.
Weaknesses: Although there are video inputs (RCA) in the receiver if have video components with digital output jacks, you can't use them in the receiver because it lacks dvi inputs. So, you'll still have to deal with multiple remote controls.
Summary: I am using this with two klipsch floor speakers, two polk audio bookshelf speakers, one of the klipsch 4.1 computer speakes for the center, and a Klipsch subwoofer and the sound is incredible. There's a lot of versitility in the setup if you're willing to experiment. I would definitely stick with big speakers to achieve the full sound of the receiver...Small satelitte speakers wouldn't do it justice.
