Strengths: Thorough bios options, very stable, and easy set up, never had a system installed so smoothly. Very stable voltage control, and great passive sinks for chipset.
Weaknesses: ExpressGate, if installed and enabled, hangs the machine. ASUS techs were no help.
Summary: I bought this to replace a failed gigabyte board. It took my core2duo and speedy ram just fine, plus has the option of upgrading to ddr3 in the future.

Booted windows xp, linux, even dos from a flash drive, without a hitch.

The only downside, expressgate is a failure, black-screens the computer where it should normally launch. Had to unplug the drive it was installed on to get into bios to disable it. So if this is a key feature, look for another board.
