Strengths: Feels solid, nicely built. Special keyboard light. Built-in 802.11b.
Weaknesses: No "WIN" key. Does not come with CDs. No legacy ports (e.g., COM, PS2).
Summary: Pretty nice, but plain laptop.

There is software to map the WIN key funtion to a Shift, CTRL or ALT key, but it just isn't the same. If you rely heavily on the WIN key it will take time to adjust. IBM doesn't ship any CDs with the unit, but their tech support is more than happy to mail you the recovery CDs after you call. I received mine in less than 24 hours.

One thing I also noticed is that the fan hardly ever turns on. We have HPs and Gateways with similar specs and their fans are always running.
