2 Star ReviewOverall, this machine appears impressive with all ...
Strengths: Solid quality picture from UXGA screen. Sound is good. Able to handle gaming.
Weaknesses: Regardless of what sales rep's claim, however, the proprietary Microsoft Windows Media format of recorded TV shows prevents recording to DVD. Have had numerous problems with DVD/CD multidrive.
Summary: Overall, this machine appears impressive with all of its whistles & bells. However, persistent problems with DVD/CD multidrive have left a less than favorable impression with me. Toshiba warranty service does not provide lemon policy. Take this into consideration when purchasing this particular model.

Strengths: Screen, sound, dvd writer, graphics, tv tuner ......
Weaknesses: battery life, weight...
Summary: Ive had this thing for 6 months now, and its fabulous, I mean, the best screen of its type, excellent sound, built in microphone, remote, tv tuver, dvd writer, I mean, what more can someone want in a laptop, and its so beatiful, like a sports car, ....its something out of this world. Althought the m cpu is not as fast as a desktop, but you cant have everything can you?

Strengths: Brilliant Screen!!! Awesome sound!!! Truely a multimedia powerhouse!!! Good solid machine and good horsepower and an excellent video card make this laptop a great portable multimedia laptop!
Weaknesses: Price! A bit on the expensive side... but worth it!
Summary: I love this laptop. If you are looking for a multimedia laptop, a gaming laptop, or a laptop with some horsepower to do business applications this will/can fill the void!

Built solid and performs like a champ, It's encased in a glossy metalic blue case that will turn heads. The screen is absolutely crisp and sharp! Sound with the sub-woofer is amazing. Built in DVD-RW and wireless 802.11b and a memory slot (SD) same as the palm pilot or some cameras make transferring photo's files easy.

Don't look for legacy hardware on this however... No Floppy, No parallel, No Serial ports. Then again if you get this you would have any legacy products that use these ports. Printers and Mice run off USB. No need for Floppy's - write to CD

Overall very pleased!!!
