Strengths: Compact, easy to set up, sound quality as good or better than my old large speakers
Weaknesses: interface is a little confusing - not always intuitive
Summary: I moved from a large component system that was 10 years old or so to this compact system. The CD player had given up the ghost, and it just was taking up too much space, so I decided to give a compact system a try. There were specific things I wanted - 5 CD changer and a cassette player, with speakers good enough to enjoy. I got all of that and very good quality. I'm very pleased with the sound of this system - I think I gained in the upgrade.

Strengths: Excellent sound
Weaknesses: It takes a long time to read the CD before it starts to play.
Summary: The Sony 5 CD changer has excellent sound and it looks great in a book case. It is very easy to assemble. The only thing that would make it better is to be able to change CD's more quickly. It does take a few seconds for for it to read the CD before it starts to play, but it is worth the wait. I would recommend this system.

Strengths: Excellent sound, looks great, easy configuration, fair price.
Weaknesses: none yet.
Summary: This is the best compact stereo system for its price range. I've been looking for a while, I am still amazed how good it sounds everytime I play a CD.

Strengths: Great size and power for its size. Looks and sounds great. Remote. Plays MP3s.
Weaknesses: None noted.
Summary: This looks and sounds good. Nice for office or bedroom. Good price. Plays MP3s. Has an extra input for another component. I wish I had found this before I bought stereos for friends of mine since this would fulfill all of their needs.

Strengths: It has 3 way speakers that really sounded pretty good. 5 Disc Changer combined with 120 watts of power to rock your world.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I really like my new sony hi-fi stereo system. It has a cool look and compact in size making it easier for me to put it underneath my computer desk. I really have confidence in sony products and I highly recommend this product to anybody who is looking for a good system at a reasonable price.

 Sony CMT-HP7 Micro Hi-Fi Component System Strengths: Great Sound. Compact Size. Easy to Assemble.
Weaknesses: CD Changer is a little slow
Summary: When I first got this system, I loved it, but after just 1 year the CD player doesn't work anymore and I've only been able to use the radio and (old fashioned) tapes since. It still sounds excellent, I just wish I could still play CD's.

Strengths: Easy to set up, easy to understand manual, easy to operate.
Weaknesses: Only weakness is that it's not one of the cheapest models available.
Summary: This micro stero system is a great unit to play CD's and tapes as well as listen to radio.
It is easy to set up and operate, and with the Sony name brand, it has a good quality history.
I would recommend this system to anyone!!

Strengths: Simply excellent quality. Can never go wrong with a Sony. It's a sleek, well built, compact, yet POWERFULL SYSTEM! Def. recommend. Sony is great
Weaknesses: NONE
Summary: I have only had this for a few days, but I have heard great things about this system. It throws out plenty of power for a bedroom system. It can easily be used for speakers for a surround sound system as well. I have no complaints on this system, and SONY has once again held their groud with a new and amazing system.
