Strengths: Bright clear picture, built in speaker, component video adapter included, remote control with easy to toggle user modes, nice carrying case included, HDTV compatible, etc.
Weaknesses: Throw distance could be better (projector must be further away from the wall for a large image). Some ghosting, but you must be really sensitive to pick it up.
Summary: I use this projector for home theater, Xbox parties and presentations outside the home. It really does a great job in nearly all light conditions and is very functional. I'm really pleased with the portability, and the remote control has a built in laser pointer for those who have to point out things on your slides. Best of all, the remote has a nifty "E" profile button that allows you to quickly toggle between user modes like "theater", "PC", "User (your settings)", etc. Very nice!
I've compared this projector to many others (including the more expensive similarly featured Dell 2300MP, HPs, Epsons, Panasonic, etc.) and for the price, this is the best value to date. I've been watching them for almost 2 years, waiting for my chance to buy one personally, and my wait is finally over!
If you get lucky enough to find a deal (like I did!) you can get the projector for UNDER $700! Try to get a big screen TV with this kind of functionality for $700...
Just buy it, you'll be glad you did.
