Strengths: Temperatures seem accurate. Warming drawer useful. Three racks in large oven allow flexibility in baking.
Weaknesses: Original unit had a misaligned oven door and was replaced by the store.
Summary: This range/oven is our first convection oven. Its three adjustable oven racks make for convenient baking. The baking temperatures seem accurate, which was fortunate as the new range arrived just before holiday baking for guests began. Everything came out as expected. The convection feature only has been used once so far. Samsung's approach is to reduce the temperature 25 degrees (F) below the temperature you set. If you punch in 400 degs., it sets the temperature to 375 degs. on convection baking. The manual touts the shorter baking time possible with convection ovens, but Samsung lowers the temperature automatically instead of shortening the time. With experience and/or some help from the sample time/temperature charts in the manual you probably can learn to shorten baking time as well. I would have preferred the range control knobs to be reversed, that is, with the front controls toward the center of the control panel and the rear-burner controls toward the outside to match the way the burners are placed on the range. However, the lights that go on when a burner is heating accurately show the position, so it just takes getting used to that arrangement. One front burner is a double-range, and one is a triple-range. There is a warming region in the center of the back of the range. The warming drawer is very useful when trying to keep food warm while other dishes complete cooking. The drawer has three temperature settings. The electronic controls are pretty intuitive and easily learned. Our oven had a door that did not close properly, and the store replaced it without a quibble.
