Strengths: Goes from newborn to toddler, secure, money saver.
Weaknesses: Not really collapsible, hard to snap
Summary: It is a very nice set, specifically for the price (I just bought a second one for $19.99 @ overstock.com, so that I have it whenever I visit my mother-in-law).. Since my daughter was born, or so, I've given her a bath every day. At first, I used the cradle with the sponge on top without the bath tub, I was bathing her in the sink, but mine was too small to accommodate the tub. If the sponge is not that soft and tends, after a while to lose its color (not so much from the bathing itself but from washing it, even if it is with baby laundry detergent), it does prevent the baby from slipping, which is extremely important. I later used the bath cradle alone, and when my daughter could really sit up by herself, I've used, and still use the bath tub in our bath tub. I had to try a couple of times to make it snap into place (the indications given could be better, and yes you need to use some force). I would have liked it to be more collapsible (you gain only a couple of inches), however it is really convenient as it fills up fast, saves water, time and money (I cannot imagine running a full bath everyday). It is big enough to accommodate a toddler (she's tall for her age), and yet small enough so that if she ever slip I can easily catch her back, or she can herself hold on to the sides. There's also a small plug at the bottom that is easy enough for parents to use, but not enough that your child will pull it easily. And most important, my daughter loves it.
