cheap.
Strengths: looks.
Weaknesses: sound.
Summary: i got these at CVS for $9, and i thought they might be a decent replacement for my worn-out Koss set of similar clip-on style (for which I paid $18, originally). well, was i ever wrong. these sounded just as bad as any cheaper headphones. the package advertised deep bass; what i heard of it was barely there. the sound wasn't clear at all; it fact, it was very tinny-sounding. i immediately gave them to my little 9-year old sister to replace her damaged headphones, and she was slightly impressed, but i sure wasn't.
they'll work in a bind, if you must, but if you want clear, quality sound, you'll just have to pay more. i ended up buying a Sony Studio Monitor set (model MDR-V150), and i am much more impressed with those.
