Strengths: Sharp resolution for prints up to 11x14; surprisingly good for a basic pointandshoot camera; priced right 188euro;very long battery life with Hama NiMh2200 rechargeable batteries
Weaknesses: LCD can be washed out in bright sunlight; the optical view finder is very small and has an LED right next to it; lens cap is a bit flimsy; could have a little better low-light focusing and auto flash
Summary: 2003-07-30 13:41:52 Image quality is quite good for a 3.2MP camera. But for the price, it's hard to fault. The 2X digital zoom adds some creative fun, but is unimpressive compared to some cameras that have upto 10X zoom and more! Overall, though, the cx4300 images will please just about anyone. They are sharp, rich in color and produce brilliant prints. this camera hass surprisingly good image quality. The LCD is good average lighting situations, but bright sunlight washes out the display a little and if there is not enough light...the LCD is too dark. But this is typical of many digital cameras, so it is not a major fault. Overall, this camera is a bargain buy considering what you get. It is a great camera for novices, amateurs and people who want to take good snapshots.
