Strengths: -doesn't take up too much counter space
-great performance- very handy and useful
-contemporary styling
-easy cleanup
-easy assembly- very intuitive
Weaknesses: -3 cup size-plenty for me but be aware that it isn't full size
Summary: I was a little weary about the small size, but I wanted something I could keep on my counter for easy access and not end up in the basement. It is working out great! It has been a perfect size for everything I've made so far. The performance as far as chopping up things is fantastic- there's a reason why Cuisinart is the top brand for this type of appliance. This is a great way to get a great brand at an affordable price. Someday maybe I'll step up to the bigger one, but I don't really need it right now- this size is perfect. I've worked with other food processors in the past that getting all the pieces in the right place to get it to actually run has been an issue-- this one was super easy and started as soon as I pressed the button every time. There aren't a lot of parts so you don't have to worry about little pieces or losing anything. It comes with a small spatula that is really great- I've found it really handy. I was making do by either chopping up stuff by hand or using my blender, but it was always annoying and very time consuming. It is worth every penny and I regret I waited this long to make this purchase. Now it seems so obvious that this what I've needed in my kitchen for years.

Strengths: small enough for daily use, does not take up too much counter space. It is very powerful, regardless of its size.
Weaknesses: lacks a shredder blade, for grating carrots ect.
Summary: This is excellent for homemade babyfood and smoothies on the go! I can steam up fresh fruits and veggies in the microwave oven, and then blend them up in this food processor. the small size is ideal for daily use. Washing it is easy. Be careful of the blade, it is very sharp. Sometimes I can use it to chop up things for dinner quickly too. Takes little space on the counter top. Too bad it lacks a shredder blade, which would make this product IDEAL for making salads and everything else!

Strengths: size
Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: I bought this as a gift for my wife to go along with a 14 cup metal cuisinart food processor. It was nice because it goes well with the larger processor but has the smaller size for the times when you just dont need a lot of things chopped up.

Strengths: Small size
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I bought this mini food processor to compliment the Black and Decker 10 cup food processor that I already have. It is for small jobs like cutting onions or chopping nuts. It is a little bit more pricey, but I am surprised at how powerful it is compared to its size. Another strength is that it is small enough to fit on the counter or inside the cabinet when it is not in use. It is another quality product from Cuisinart.

Strengths: small and powerful
Weaknesses: quality
Summary: First a note about the quality. This is our 3rd unit in about 5 years. The motor in the first unit burned out just in a few weeks, so I got it replaced under the warranty. The second unit worked well for a couple of years and the blade suddenly broke. I got a new blade on Amazon and that worked fine for another couple of years and recently it broke the same way. Instead of paying another $16+ for a blade, we decided to get a new one in costco as they are selling these now for $25 (also the plastic bowl on the old one started to crack anyway). My main gripe is on the blade quality especially that we use it mainly for vegetables (no meat, no ice, no hard stuff). The new model is slightly different from that of 5yr old. The blade is angular instead of flat, probably to give better results. It also seems to be better built. My wife uses this to chop a lot of vegetables such as carrots, beets, tomatoes, onions etc. and make Indian chutneys and she is very happy with it.

Strengths: good design, compact size, strong power
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I bought this DLC-2ABC processor for my wife. She likes the performace and design as well, but wants to one more plastic case to store garlic :) I think there are three different color, but silver is the best !!! For 2 persons, wife and me, this is the perfect process I recommend. P.S. In my case, it took a week to get it.

Strengths: compact but powerful
Weaknesses: small size
Summary: As many reviewers already mentioned, this is a small compact food-processor and does to job very well. Cleaning is a snap. The motor is powerful. Easy to store in a shelf. Since I bought it for making baby food, it's perfect for the purpose and I am pretty much satisfied. But it's no good for large family.

Strengths: Small but powerful enough. Easy cleanup
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I bought this for my wife as a supplement for the full size that she has. For small job, definitely this one is much easier to handle and it does the job. After that, it's easy to clean. By pressing different buttons, it reverses the rotation of the blade for chopping or grinding.

Strengths: Small yet gets your chopping and grinding done quickly.
Weaknesses: Not all that sleek looking.
Summary: I own the larger version, but that isn't all that convenient when you need a small job to get done, so I borrowed a friends and loved it and had to get my own. Sometimes you just want to make a quick pesto or chop up some garlic and onion and this small yet powerful processor will get the job done. It's easy to clean, fits on your counter top, Minces, chops, and grinds. Also, very easy to use. I love the convenience and how much it helps me in the kitchen.

Strengths: Compact size. Easy to use.
Weaknesses: No attachments.
Summary: I bought this to puree foods for my father's dysphagia diet. The size is perfect for 1 or 2 servings. I don't know how well it chops foods as I only use it to make everything nice and smooth. It does a wonderful job with just about every food I've tried thus far. For me this works much better than a blender. The small size takes up little space and is always ready to use. Cleanup is quick and with good care this little baby should last.
