Strengths: Can charge and control your ipod at the same time in your car.
Weaknesses: wish it came in different colors like grey or black to match my car's interior
Summary: 2005-05-03 08:38:28 I was looking for a solution where I could use my ipod with my Pioneer headunit without those FM transmitters or a lot of cables. Pioneer has the CD-IB100 but it proved to be a BIG disappointment judging from all the reviews. So I went to my local radioshack and picked up a splitter and ordered an auxillary input module for my headunit. Now I am good to go. Im thinking of adding an ipod remote to complete my package.

Day 5: I've used this for a few days and had to upgrade it from a 4 to a 5. Its really great now that I have figured a way to run all cables into the dash and mount my ipod on the vent.

    Product Experience:
    3 Days
Strengths: Simple to use. Just plug-in and play your music. Handy jack located on cigarette lighter plug allows you to connect to your car/audio system and avoid two cables going to the iPod.
Weaknesses: Requires separate audio cable to connect to car mp3 jack.
Summary: Overall, a very handy product. I would have absolutely no complaints if it also came with the audio cable allowing you to connect this device to the car's mp3 jack. The volume control on this device helps balance the sound level between the mp3 player and the other stereo units (CD, FM/AM, etc.) Direct connection to the bottom of iPod instead of headphone jack allows you to control the volume at your stereo source instead on of the iPod (when driving and trying to skip to next song, it was very easy to accidentally adjust the volume on the iPod-- no longer an issue).

Strengths: good for charging in car
Weaknesses: don't charge with FM transmitter in the same time
Summary: It is the best charger for supply the power for ipod photo because ipod photo needs more power than other type ipod. It also has a amplifier that can adjust the amount of audio. But after I have used some days, I find it don't charge the Belkin FM transmitter at the same time because it hasn't 12v output jack like belkin another product(power cord charger) . So I have to leave some battery for my FM transmiter. In a word, if you only want a charger to supply power for your ipod, it is the best.
