Summary: Well, we all know how hard it is to find THAT combination in anything but there are those rare times when you get all three in one fantastic package. This is one of them. I bake about twenty loaves of bread and six pizzas every week and for a while I was relying on bread machines to mix up my dough. Unfortunately, the sturdiness of most bread machines just isn't what it used to be.
Finally, after dispensing with three different bread machines last year, I (the ultimate slow learner) realized I should probably try the KitchenAid. I was desperate and while reluctant to spend the money at first, decided I'd been 'pennywise' and 'pound foolish' for far too long. The KitchenAid had a great reputation, was awfully pretty to look at, and looked like it might just do what I needed.
In a nutshell, it does. It's everything I could want as far as sturdiness, dependability, and ease of operation. It's easy to clean, mixes up all my dough without a whimper and leaves me with a nice soft dough that ends up being perfectly heavenly tasting bread and pizza. I can't say that I've put it through all its paces as yet, but so far, I'm incredibly pleased. A thoroughly wonderful product.
