Summary: I bought this LG Dishwasher from Home Depot because the construction looked sturdier than the GE Profile.
Since I purchased it I have had nothing but problems.
After it was installed I noticed that the dividers were already broken. Home Depot's installer just said to call LG and the will send you some new ones. I did so and have had to call them several more time because the brackets keep breaking. One day the thing just froze up and displayed an error message. I was without a dishwasher for 4 weeks while home depot and the repair contractor worked out the details and shipped the parts from Korea that were broken. It has broken several more times since. Just the other night I noticed some black smoke comming out of the dishwasher. I didn't understand why because it shouldn't have been running. I noticed that the controls were not lit and the pump was running. I tried to shut it off with the controls but it did not respond. I had to un-mount from the cabinet and actually unplug it to get it to stop. This thing is a fire hazard. Home Depot will not exchange it even though I still have a valid waranty and LG will not return any of my emails.
