Strengths: Excellent sound quality, DTS, Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic I & II all supported, compact, lots of audio inputs
Weaknesses: Occasionally makes a weird sound and dies.
Summary: Wow! I have owned this system for about a year now, and I'm still awed by it every time I turn it on. The sound quality is some of the best I've heard in a home theatre system. 100 watts for every channel, and a boomin' subwoofer! It works excellently with DTS, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Pro Logic I & II! It's easy to set up with its color coded speaker inputs. It has 1 digital optical input, 1 digital coaxial input, and 3 RCA inputs. All work great with their respective sound quality. It also comes with a built-in AM/FM radio. The only negative I can think of is that occasionally, out of nowhere, it makes a sort of snapping sound and will die. The solution I've found when this happens is to unplug it, plug it back in, and then wait a few minutes before turning it back on. It can be sort of a nuisance. But even still, I can't complain much when the whole thing is so blasted good! Movies, music, games, whatever. The sound is superb! An enthusiastic 5 out of 5!

Strengths: Excellent surround sound from DVD and good quality audio from tuner. Easy set-up with color coded cables.
Weaknesses: Does not include a digital optical cable or DVD player.
Summary: This is the ideal home theater system for those who already have a good DVD or DVD/VCR combo and who wish to add a home theater system. I was at first skeptical about the quality due to the low price, but I was pleasantly surprised when I heard the rich sounds that the system produces. The instruction booklet is easy to follow. The remote permits a variety of fine-tuning options from speaker delay settings to speaker level settings. Once you have these settings just right you will enjoy a rich audio experience.

Strengths: Crystal clear sound, all decoders, 600 Watts, easy setup
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: This is a still & great value for your price.it has 600 watts or total power and can decode everything, dts, dolby digital, pro logic and pro logic 2. its also utilizes sharp's 1 bit technology which converts analog signals into digital, while its ultra-high speed sampling rate captures detailed, high frequency sounds that could never before be experienced. it also has 2 digital and 3 line inputs and a nice design. this system also doubbles as a am/fm radio with magnetically shielded front speakers.

Paid 115$ at Target & very happy with it.

Have Sony also. But really can't differentiate Sony form this one.
