Strengths: Quiet, decent overclocking, overall solid performance.
Weaknesses: Not up to ATIs specs for the X700 card.
Summary: This card is listed on Newegg as having a 400mhz core clock and 350mhz RAM clock (700mhz DDR), and these are the ATI specs for the vanilla X700 card. However, the one I bought from zipzoomfly came clocked at 400mhz core and 250mhz RAM (500mhz DDR) according both to ASUS' SmartDoctor and ATITool. On stock cooling (which is very quiet), I did manage get a stable overclock at to 475/615(DDR) after applying some Arctic Silver 5, but the fact remains that neither the ASUS website or any of the online retailers have clear and accurate specs for this card.
It is still a solid performer, but if I had known it was going to have such a memory bottleneck I definitely would have purchased from another manufacturer.
