Summary: Though the new Remington razor has Titanium blades that supposedly last longer, they are supposed to be replaced about once a year, just as the 7775XL. Norelco's lift and cut system is truly effective, and not only gives a better shave but also does it in less time. I have heard stories of terrible abrasions when switching from disposable to electric, but I have had none. The sensitivity adjustor is not that necessary but a great feature nonetheless. The best part is that the razor does all the thinking for you. It tells you how much battery life is left in minutes, when to clean the razor, and when to replace the blades. I highly recommend this razor, especially from amazon.com, a steep decline from the over 200.00 retail value.

Norleco 7825XL Quadra Action Shaver

Strengths: Shaves extremely close.

Weaknesses: None that I have found.

Summary: I have owned Norelco shavers before, and this is the best one yet. It bends along with the shape of my face. My wife used to comment about stubble, but ever since I started using this one, she doesn't complain about stubble anymore!

There nothing great about this shaver, it works ok ...

Strengths: Can just run it under water to clean The flexible heads

Weaknesses: Not a very close shave

Summary: There nothing great about this shaver, it works ok. There is less pulling out of longer hairs from this shaver than from my previous norelco (which is about 3 years old). I do like the flexible head thing. The truth is that there are alot of small hairs that i have to go over a few times for them to be cut.

I have a beard. With my old Norelco, I could pret ...

Strengths: Strong Motor, runs fast. I like the quick recharge option.

Weaknesses: Clips beards a little "too" well. No "level" adjustment for "depth" of shave (on more expensive models).

Summary: I have a beard. With my old Norelco, I could pretty much just push the trimmer up against my beard once or twice to cut off the longer hairs. It wouldn't dig any deeper. With the new razor, this ended up cutting off just about everything (I look like Mange-boy). Not really the razor's fault; I just need to get used to a different technique when trimming the beard.

It did great for the rest of my face.

Weaknesses: NA

Summary: This shaver has a few nice features that I really like, such as the pop-up trimmer, the quick charge feature, the LED display of minutes left for shaving, and the floating heads which adjust to the contours of the face. Overall, I feel this is a great shaver for the price. The 2 year warranty is also an added benefit. It is also nice to have the little travel case to go along with it.
