Strengths: Brightness, contrast, viewing angle, ease of use, shipping container, design.
Weaknesses: Picture format / size only available from soft menu (no remote button to change it directly), slight (100-200ms) video delay when using external audio gear upstream of the TV.
Summary: Overall, there is not a better TV out there. This set gives you 46" of HD viewing pleasure in the smallest package available today. At 73 pounds, 17" deep, 30" high, and only 40.8" wide, this DLP (HD2+ MMD chip) fits into spaces no other 46" tv will. The slight video delay experienced on this set is present only when sending the audio and video sources separately to a receiver and the tv, respectively, and can be resolved by adding a delay device into audio stream. Or by using the built-in delay feature of several receivers. [See the High Definition Forum online for more on this.] Having said that, I can not find enough good things to say about this set. This is my second Samsung DLP set (the first was a 5063), and for my taste they continue to lead the field of 'mainstream', large format HDTVs.
