 Good HD / MP3 reciever Strengths: Great Sound quality,very inexpensive, easy to install,SRS Circle Surround
Weaknesses: Noticed some fading in HD
Summary: Bought this for Honda accord with harness from crutch field. The player was really cheap and easy to install.I did not get good output with Original car speakers, so got another pair and worked great. noticed some fading in HD signals. Which might be due to terrain as i drive a lot.Over all worth the price

Strengths: Excellent sound, HD radio and MP3/WMA functions
Weaknesses: Multi-band equalizer is difficult to tweak
Summary: I upgraded my 1998 Clarion CD player to this JVC, along with a pair of Polk speakers. The JVC sound almost as good as my Pioneer 3900MP. I am still tweaking the sound of the JVC to match the Pioneer. The multi-band equalizer is nice but you need to carefully tweak it. The control is less intuitive compared to the Pioneer but acceptable considering the extra HD Radio function.

Strengths: Strong HD signal. Clear sound.
Weaknesses: None that I could find
Summary: I bought it from Crutchfield and I am very happy with this player. Sound quality has substantially improved with the same speakers I had in my car. HD reception is very strong.

Strengths: Good Price. Satellite Radio. MP3 & WMA playback.
Weaknesses: Build quality is not the best.
Summary: Important things to mention is that the buttons, specially the one where you skip to the next songs, has pretty bad design and is not strong. I am almost sure that with prolonged use it can break and stop working. And honestly many of us are always changing songs, so this should last. Apart from that issue, all else is OK. If you have a sound system set up, you have the necessary outputs to set up multiple amps and control them from the player, which are rca outputs for the subwoofer amp, and another one for the speaker amp. Satellite radio now a days is a real convenience, that is the main reason I bought it, and you don't worry when you are traveling if you reach a dead radio signal zone in the way from one city to another, you have the stations there always.

Strengths: Nice looking front panel. 3 sets of rca outputs (front, rear and sub). Excellent sound once you get it tuned in to your liking. Excellent value for a name brand I know and trust, JVC. Remote control.
Weaknesses: Small pre-set buttons. Hunts between HD and stereo lock ons depending on strengh of signal (I suppose all brands do this). No front input for Ipod.
Summary: Very nice looking unit and great value too. It took a little time and effort (read the manual) to get the sound "shaped" the way I wanted it, but in the end it sounds awesome in the Tribute. I didn't make use of the RCA outs yet, but wanted the option for future upgrades to my system. The red lighting on the buttons don't match my other dash lights but you can't have it all for this price range. All in all, I'm very happy with this radio. I will recommend to others if in need of a good HD CD deck.

Strengths: Good HD reception, decent build quality, good looking
Weaknesses: none
Summary: This is my first car audio upgrade and installation is easier than I imagined. I am most interested in the HD radio since I listen to radio during daily commute. The audio quality is crisp and clean. Depending on your need, this unit can support either one of mp3 player/ audio source, cd changer, or bluetooth speakerphone. I am very happy upgrading from the factory player to this unit.

Strengths: Nice looking unit, easy to use and install.
Weaknesses: The subwoofer coxial wires look easy to damage.
Summary: I want a replacement unit comes with MP3 and WMA functions. Withe the great price on the promotion I can not resist. This is an awesome unit compare with the purchase price.

Strengths: Good features. Front, rear and sub outputs. Clean design.
Weaknesses: In order to use an Ipod or other MP3 player, you must buy KS-PD100 cable separately.
Summary: I wanted a unit that could play both MP3 and WMA encoded discs. The HD Radio and Sat Radio capabilities are nice added features.
The included remote is nice if you need it, but overall the best thing about this head unit is the many features for the price, along with a clean, smart design.

Strengths: It was easy to install, and there is absolutely no noise

Summary: My last stereo got stolen so i wanted to replace it with another nice one, yet didnt want to buy something really expensive, in case it were to happen again. I came across this stereo, already liked JVC, and the built-in HD radio really did it for me. I love the stereo, the radio signal is clear and crisp, i would've liked an aux jack on the front instead of having to buy a JVC adapter, but that was a small price to pay to have the HD radio included without an external receiver. I would definitely recommend this stereo.
