Don't like it at all
Strengths: Looks nice
Weaknesses: The oven and stove take a long time to heat. The built in oven fan runs a long time after turning off the oven.
Summary: We bought this range because it was a slide in, gas range that looked nice. Since installing it about two weeks ago, we are very underwhelmed at how it works. Unfortunately the Specs for this product don't describe the actual problems with it, so I will do that for you. 1. Takes a long time to heat. Even on the "high output" burner, it can take close to a half hour to boil a pot of water. Why is this? I think it's because the metal grates, which look cool by the way, are too high up, and so some of the heat never gets to the pot where it's supposed to. The oven takes a very long time to heat up. We haven't done much baking in it, but even to warm up some pizza at 250 degrees, it can take 20 minutes to come up to temperature. That's just ridiculous. Also, there is a fan that performs some function or other, that runs when you turn the oven on. This isn't a convection oven; I think it's a fan to keep the non-cooking parts from heating up too much, and to help cool down the oven when done. The oven came with a warning saying that the fan "may" run a "few minutes" after turning off the oven. I can tell you it does run, and it runs a long time- well over a half hour, even after using the oven at 250 degrees. This is the first oven I have ever bought. It's also the first gas range I have gotten to use in my home for many years. I remember gas ovens heating quickly, and gas stoves heating quickly. This does neither. In my opinion, you should NOT consider this oven. It's a real dud. If I could get GE to take it back and give me my money back I would do so.
