3 Star ReviewThe JBL SCS-145.5 Series
Strengths: 1. Easy to install 2. Strong Bass effect of the subwoofer 3. For movie freaks, the 5 channel stereo in your receiver enables you to enjoy every detail of sound effects.
Weaknesses: 1. The sharp edges of the subwoofer can easily be deframed especially when moved from one corner to another or when shifting to another apartment.
Summary: On the overall, it's a ballistic set of speakers however more needs to be done on the wire quality to enhance sound quality, not good for music listening and lastly the volume tuner at the back of the subwoofer needs to be expanded for maximum bass inducement. My combination of this JBL to the Yamaha receiver HTR 5930 yields ecstatic surround effects. However I strongly recommend these set of speakers for the movie freaks as opposed to music lovers.
