Weaknesses: Oven range was defective the clock/oven settings board didn;t work, horrible customer service
Summary: I bought the range and it came shiny beautiful and 2 days later the circuit board /clock/oven controls went out. I first called the dealer where I bought it who told me to call frigigdaire/ electrolux. I called and was given a number to repair company who couldn t come to fix it for a whole week, I tried to give them the model number and tell them what was wrong but they seemed disinterested. When they finally came a week later to fix it they said it neede a new circuit board and would have to order it making it 2 weeks I had without a stove. So I called back my dealer and he told me to call Frigidaire?Elecrtolux again and ask for an authorization number so that he could take back the stove and deliver a new one by the next day. I called Frigidaire again and told them my problem and that I wanted the stove replaced, they made me fax to them the repair report, give them the dealers name and address and phone numbers and promised to have it resolved within 48 hours. I called back the next day and was told it would be resolved within 48 to 72 hours. I told them I had been without a stove for over a week and they appologized and would expedite me geting a new range. Next day I called same spiel no result. On the following day I called again and they still had nothing to tell me and it was FRiday and I still had no stove. They said they would expedite it and called me back later saying they wouldn't replace it even though it was obviously defective that they would only repair it. Bottom line major appliances are a vital necessity, and while any company is bound to have defective product every once in awhile, it should stand by their products in a timely manner, Frigidaire and Electrolux don't.
