Strengths: Recognizes various commands without having to use specific words, Doesn't have to be voice trained, Gives far more control than just voice dialing capabilities through BT or phone.
Weaknesses: Has to be activated and used through phone instead of through BT.
Summary: I bought MS VC 1.5 to use with my new Verizon XV6700 since the unit did not support voice dialing. I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the software for about a week (I should have specified faster delivery). I got it today and I am THRILLED with the capability and ease of use. Once I got it installed (only about 5 minutes) I was using it right away to issue all types of voice commands. The only drawback is that it doesn't use BT to accept the commands. Even that problem in not insurmountable. All you have to do is activate the MS VC on your phone (using a button that you choose) and then speak your command naturally. You will already have the phone in hand from pressing the button, so the lack of BT support is not that inconvenient -- but it would make the product a stellar one if it was added in the next release. Overall, I would give the product 4 1/2 stars!
