Strengths: Quick, dependable, economical
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: Very dependable, economical because it uses a reusable filter and makes a great cup of coffee. All you need do is put your coffee into the reusable filter add water and press the start button. Clean up is a snap, just through away the grinds and rinse the filter out. I'm buying this one to replace the one I already have because the filter basket was inadvertently thrown out.

InNeedofJava
Strengths: It brews quickly and fairly easy to use. Reasonibly priced. Compact design-takes up little space.
Weaknesses: NO SHUT OFF! If you leave it plugged in after brewing is finished, the pot will start up & begin to cycle again with no water. Dangerous. I was concerned about it catching fire.
Summary: Ironically, I came across this unit because I was looking for one to replace it. Ours is about 4 yrs. old & has served two of us quite well. It needs replaced because it leaks water from the bottom when you fill the reservoir. I think we just simply wore the coffee maker out. If it weren't for the shut-off issue, I would rate it higher & buy another one just like it. Its time for an upgrade anyway & will most likely stick with B&D. They make affordable & durable products.

Strengths: It has a permanent filter which is very easy to clean. No paper filters Needed.
Quickly brewing.
It's cheap.
Weaknesses: It's only for one-coffee-drinker households.
Summary: I like this coffee-maker. Before I bought it I hesitated to choose the big one or this small cute one. Finally I think I made the right choice. My husband doesn't like coffe as me. It is perfect for me. Convenient, fast and economic. Worth the money.

Just about OK
Strengths: Cheap, permanent filter and nice mug
Weaknesses: Coffee is not hot enough
Summary: Looking for a small footprint coffee machine on my counter. Came across this one with good price and with permanent filter fits my bill. But the coffee is not hot enough for my taste. A little bit disappeared. Could this just my machine? The travel mug is quite nice though.

Strengths: Fast, easy to use,can use your own ground coffee(no pods), no need for paper filters, auto shutoff, doesn't take up alot of space. very portable and comes with large travel mug
Weaknesses: occasionally get a few grounds of coffee in the cup, could be hotter, plastic cup looks cheap because its plastic, should have gone with the Stainless steel one.
Summary: This is great if you do not have anyone else in the house that drinks coffee. It can also be used to boil water for hot chocolate, tea and Cup-of-soup. I bought a Senseo last year and hardly use it. the pods are too expensive and it took up too much counter space. This unit is light and portable. I take it with me everywhere. works great in the RV too. just set it up on the counter night before and turn it on when i get up. coffee is done by the time I finish brushing my teeth. Easy cleanup too. I will buy one for my son in college but get the stainless steel version. it will be great for the convenience and maybe will keep coffee hotter.

Strengths: Compact.
Very cheap price.
Decent coffee strength.
Permanent filter.
Weaknesses: Flimsy.
To go mug does not withstand the hot for a long time.
Summary: I used to have a 10 cup coffee maker and we drink a max of two cups a day in our home. It occupies more space and coffee was not at all strong enough when we make two cups. I bought this last week and I am very happy with the quality of the coffee I brew from the same brand of coffee I used to. Really worth the money I spent and would definitely buy the same brand if at all it breaks down.

Strengths: compact size, price, automatic off
Weaknesses: The plastic mug, no off button
Summary: It's compact size has both pros and cons. The positive side is it dose not take up much space. The negative side is it can take only up to 5 inch tall cups. Most of my stainless traveler's mugs are 6 inch tall, so they don't fit in the machine. The plastic mug that came with the machine is good enough for the price, but comparing to my other mugs, the outside of the cup gets very hot right after coffee is done(although not burning hot) but it doesn't hold the temperature long enough. Someone mentioned 'no shut off'. It does have automatic off function, and it works well. Because I read the review, I watched it cautiously to see if it would start-up again without water, but it didn't happen. Maybe upgraded??? Nevertheless, I would have liked it more if it had a manual off button just for safety. Overall, it's worth the price I paid.

Strengths: price, fast brew time, easy cleanup
Weaknesses: none
Summary: This is a great little product. I've been really satisfied with it, so bought a second one for the office, where just use a coffee mug instead of the travel cup. It brews fast and easy to cleanup. No more running out of paper filters since it has reusable permanent filter.

Strengths: Small footpint, included filter, price!
Weaknesses: Won't work with large/Med travel mugs
Summary: Overall very pleased with this coffee maker. It brews fairly quick and you can use regular coffee mugs (not tall ones). I had a K-cup maker, but the cost/environmental savings on this unit are perfect!

Strengths: Fast brewing. Small and portable.
Weaknesses: No off button. It does have an automatic off. I simply unplug.
Summary: This is a great little coffee maker for one person. I purchased this for travel as many Motels do not offer coffee makers in the room and I want my coffee right away without having to shlep out to the lobby to get a cup. This coffee maker is excellent for this!

Strengths: convenient, just grap the cup and go.
Weaknesses: if the cup is damaged or lost, there's no way to replace it.
Summary: It is good for me because I can brew decaf whenever I like since no one else drinks decaf in the house. It also saves space and there won't be any left over cold coffee to clean up.

Strengths: Excellent for Single Cup drinkers, Permanent Filter.
Weaknesses: None!
Summary: After my Cuisinart 2-cup coffee-maker stopped working, I thought of buying something even smaller, since I never really needed to make more than a single cup anyways. This turned out to be a great choice, especially since it came with a nice coffee mug too. The permanent filter is both a good and a bad thing. The good part of course is that you don't waste loads of money buying filters every few months. The bad is that you do have to clean the filter after every use, rather than just tossing the filter away!

Strengths: Quick, easy to use, easy to clean filter.
Weaknesses: None that I could find.
Summary: I used to buy a coffee from Dunkin Donuts almost every day on the way to work and realized I needed something more practical and economical than buying one cup a day, waiting on a line to get my java, wasting precious time and money buying something I could make at home. After searching, I found that this coffeemaker fits the bill perfectly!
The learning curve is wonderfully small, just pour in your water, measure and pour your coffee grounds in, place the cup under the drip and press the Start level. One minute of preparation, four minutes to brew and then its done! In five minutes total, it brews a great cup of coffee directly into the travel mug, I grab it and then off I go to work! The mug keeps it warm for several hours, so it still tastes good for some time.
The manual recommends adding sweetner and milk to the mug before the coffee brews into it, but I find it tastes better if I add that stuff after the coffee brews, not before. Personal preference and all that. The mug also fits in the cup holders in both of our vehicles, so my wife can use it as well. The coffeemaker also automatically shuts itself off, removing any worries about the unit burning itself out.
Cleanup is also a snap, just take out the reusable, permanent filter, wash it in the sink, clean it, the travel mug and its lid, and you're ready for the next morning. Also, all of this is dishwasher safe, making cleanup a little easier too.
Now, I buy my Dunkin Donuts coffee grounds in the bag and make my own before I go, tasting just as great as if I bought it directly from them. I've owned it for over a month now, it gets used almost every day, and I've found that this product definitely lives up to its name!

Summary: I needed a one cup easy to use coffee maker for my trailer and this is it. The built in filter makes clean up a breeze and the size is perfect for the RV. This product is a must for a single person who loves their one cup of coffee in the morning. This is a good product, highly recommended.
