Summary: This is traditional standing fridge with 18.2 cubic feet inside. The inside is quite roomy as compared to many of its piers.
There is plenty of food storage from GE at an competitive affordable price.
I have used a few different fridges in the past 20+ years in my different apartments and I could tell you that the 2 things that might went wrong with a fridge:
- the plastic handle of the condiment compartment on the door may break easily
- the freezer fan may get clogged up with ice.
I have experienced both of the above with multiple fridge brands in the past 20+ years, and i can tell you that the first one above could easily solved if you care to use it gently. If you always banging soda bottles against it, the handle will definitely break regardless of which fridge brands.
Unlike some advance models with digital temperate display/control, this GE fridge has the older knob control inside. This does not bother me because once it is set correctly, there is really no other time that one would adjust the temperate again.
I have not experienced any problem with this fridge or similar style fridges in the past. So far it is working fine with me.
