Logitech USB Stereo PC Headset w/ Microphone

Excellent headset

Strengths: USB interfac, comfortable ear phones, excellent sound quality

Weaknesses: only one year of warranty, no volume control or mute button

Summary: I have been using these for almost a year now primarily to play games onlines AAO and caht on skype. Before this I tried numerous other headphones some costlier but the sound quality was not good. This headset has excellent sound quality, I can hear the finer details which were missing with other headsets in the same price range.

I would recommend these to anyone who wants to use these for playing games. If you want to buy this only for chattting go with 350 model instead as it has a volume and mute control.

Too fragile and short life

Strengths: none

Weaknesses: fragile, USB cord is too thin, small ear covers

Summary: Have been using this for a few months. I bought too and one of them is already dead. The other one is also acting up. I found these to be too fragile to handle and use for daily use. If you travel with your headset than these are not for you. Also, lacks a mute or volume control. Will not recommend to anyone who is looking for a sturdy product.

Decent headset for the price

Strengths: Logitech brand and support, USB connection, clear voice

Weaknesses: short cord, small ear caps, need to be plugged in before you start chatting

Summary: 2007-07-31 20:53:36 I use this primarily for chatting on skype from office. Found the headset to be excellent but lags a volume or mute button. Also the cord that comes with the headset is a bit short. Another problem I found which is very annoying is that if you plug in the headset in the middle of a talk you will have to restart skype to make it work. I have been told this is because of the USB connection. Also, if you connect this to desktop then you have to change the audio profile to make the headset the default for it to work. Overall an ok headset for the price.
