Strengths: 10 power levels, it is a combination microwave, convection, broiler oven Weaknesses: no defrost setting for small items, trim kit not as nice as previous one by Panasonic Summary: Our previous microwave/convection oven was a Panasonic Dimension 4. It was great. We chose the NN-C980WAPH model because it was the closest item we could find to our previous appliance. We have several items to note: 1) we could not find a local distributor of Panasonic microwaves and had to order ours online. 2) we could not find the trim kit locally and had to order it online directly from Panasonic because we could not find a dealer online who carried it 3)When we rec. the trim kit it was not near as nice a design as the previous one we had owned from Panasonic 4)this product requires a dedicated 20 amp circuit 100% of People (15/15) found this review helpful. Strengths: Even cooking; great for small family; very convenient Weaknesses: Doesn't last long enough to justify the expense. Summary: Afer only 2 years both master control boards on my microwave went out. It would have been too expensive to repair, which was a great disappointment, and paying full price for a new one was not an option.
