You know what you had before you lost it (yikes!) so no surprises here Weaknesses: More expensive and fewer features than 3rd party OEM chargers Summary: The reason you're buying this is that you lost or damaged the charger that came with your camera. That being said, you know exactly what you're getting. The strengths: 1. Original Canon equipment 2. Compatability guaranteed 3. Blinking light indicator functions as time indicator of how much charging time is left 4. Power charger is standard cord - not a brick that crowds out outlets on your power strip The weaknesses 1.
