Summary: 2006-01-05 22:44:54 I have been an owner of the Yamaha product line since 1987. I have nothing but good things to say about this companies product line. I originally purchased the M-85, C-85 and T-85 products during 1987 and still have them today. They are still operational and produce the same quality audio experience as when I first purchased them. The HTR-5850 Receiver is a new and lower end model, but I purchased this item to replace a BSR Receiver that I had purchased back in 1991 (which now, no longer functions). The Yamaha products have been proven to last and produce when they are really needed. I fully recommend this line of product to anyone who wishes to keep their audio equipment for many years and still have them work like they did the very first day it was purchased.
