Strengths: Accuracy and ease of use
Weaknesses: Price, mounting bracket not included
Summary: The Celestron GPS Module-CN16 is an optional accessory which makes the use of your Celestron telescope much easier. I am using it with a Celestron CGE mount. It plugs into the auxilary connector on your mount and is activated on and off through the hand control. GPS satellite info is transmitted to your telescope and this really makes for a faster and more accurate alignment process. If you use your telescope at various viewing sites, the CN16 will be invaluable in and of itself just for providing the most accurate positioning data. One thing I was disappointed in was the fact that the unit did not include a bracket for mounting it on the tripod. This is an additional accessory which adds to the final cost of the unit. All in all , this is a must have for anyone serious about their Celestron scope. Highly recommended.
