 Not unless you are buying it for decorations Strengths: The chicken decoration is cute.
Weaknesses: It doesn't work.
Summary: This is a horrid device. Totally useless in opening a soft-boiled eggs. It requires a firm pressure down against the egg to keep it in place, then you are supposed to close it like a pair of scissors. This makes it very difficult to keep in position. When you do manage to close the handles it is more likely to crack the shell vertically than successfully nip off the top. I have tried to do it slowly and quickly, to no avail.
