Strengths: Bright Good picture many many inputs

Summary: Installed unit in a small post-produciton suite.

everyone was very happy until the lamp blew out at 80

hours. Hopefully that was just a fluke, otherwise the

unit has been working well.

Strengths: Very easy to set up and start watching a movie.
Weaknesses: Only weakness is the propriatory M1 connection instead of the industry standard HDMI, but there is an adaptor available.
Summary: I had previously owned the IN72 from In Focus and was AMAZED with it's performance from the time I opened the box. When I got the chance to upgrade to the 7210 I jumped on it because of my satisfaction with the IN72. The 7210 just jumps out of the box and onto a shelf...just plug it in and attach the DVD player and you're off to the movies (well add in some popcorn). I would suggest purchasing the M1DA/HDMI adaptor as soon as you purchase the 7210 so you will have all necessary connections as soon as your projector arrives...you'll want to start watching your HDTV connections ASAP. I plan to watch the continued improvements in projectors and be on the lookout for the 1080P coming soon, but till then you can't go wrong with the In Focus 7210.

Strengths: Brighter and sharper image. Its good price in the HD projector range Around 8 Video outputs Easy set up.
Weaknesses: No HDMI output. Need to buy a HDMI convertor cable.
Summary: I have been using this for a week and I am very impressed with this HD projector. I own infocus X1 and the output of this is very clear and sharp. This is a good buy at $1000. The only drawback is I need to but a HDMI converter cable for $30 to connect to a HD player to get HD quality picture. Also the set up of the projector was easy. I guess the lamp also lasts longer than other models.

Strengths: Awesome picture, fairly quiet for projectors in this price range, very bright
Weaknesses: still audible during quiet scenes
Summary: I bought the Infocus Screenplay 7210 as an upgrade from my Screenplay 4805 because I wanted more resolution and a larger picture. The 7210 looks amazing when played with High Definition sources (paired with my HD-A3 HD-DVD player, especially). The colors look great, blacks are very black. I loved the 4805's picture, but the 7210 tops it, especially with HD sources. I found that the 7210 is quieter than the 4805 (despite what some other people have said). It is still audible during quiet scenes, but does not bother me. You have to spend much more to get a really quiet projector. I am currently using this on a 76" screen but plan to get a 100-120" screen soon. The projector is VERY bright, and I am adding a 2x neutral density filter as I have read other suggest on AVSForum to adjust for this since I have a dark room. I think it would look great in a fairly light room as is.

Strengths: Excellent black-level performance; accurate color decoding; solid video processing with 2:3 pull-down
Weaknesses: Some visible low-level noise in dark scenes; no lens shift. Proprietary connector.
Summary: With its new high-contrast chip, the InFocus 7210 is a remarkably good value for the performance it delivers.

The HD content is awesome. The HD channels looked great, with excellent detail and rich, vibrant colors that were so saturated they almost looked wet.
