Strengths: good reception
easy setup
good clear messages
Weaknesses: Small "talk button"
Somewhat anoying ring tones
Summary: We just got this phone last weekend, it's a nice, small little handset, and the craddle / answeing machine is really attractive. My only problem with it is the small talk button, maybe I'll get over this when I enable quick talk - we'll see. I would recommend this phone for just about anyone looking for the cordless answering machine function.

Strengths: 5.8MHz frequency makes voice very clear; Ringer Melody can be downloaded;
Weaknesses: digit buttons on the pad seems a little bit small; Minor interference may occur with cell phone aside;
Summary: Just got this MHz cordless phone for a short time and already was impressed by its performance. My original cordless phone is Uniden 2.4Mhz, which may bring much static in complex environment such as microwaver or cell phone. This one is much better than Uniden 2.4Mhz, overall the voice is very clear although sometimes there do exist static, especially when cell phone is very close to it. The wireless range of this one is amazing in my opinion. The voice keeps very clear within almost 35ft without any obvious weaken! The battery life is normal in my opinion or maybe the battery needs to be activated after several times of charging. Some minor defect do exist on this phone. The button seems a little small for me although they looks like very exquisite and beautiful.
Overall speaking, I am very satisfied with this cordless phone. It's a wonderful cordless phone with most of the up-to-date features. Most important is that it comes with the great voice quality and decent cost of course.

Strengths: streamline design, small, light, sound clear, good signal, nice color ( blue and silver), easy operate.
Weaknesses: very low on speakerphone.
Summary: I used cordless AT&T 2.4 Ghz but signal interfered by hightspeed internet (cox cable), so I decided to buy higher frequency range 5.8 GHz. I have clear sound now and overall I'm satisfied with this product.

Strengths: Include all the fuctions needed; Excellent reception range
Weaknesses: N/A
Summary: 2006-02-09 15:57:50 I bought it with relatively cheap price. The sound and range for this phone are both very good. The outlook is quite cute and it is very compact. It come with all necessary functions: Caller ID, answering machine, and it won't be interfered by other wireless electronics.
The button for the answering machine is somehow small, need be careful to push it.
I have three different panasonic phones,and I think it is the best. I recommend this product to all of you.

Strengths: Easy setup and programming, quality speakerphone, lighted keypad, remote access, ringer tone options plus more.
Weaknesses: Have not found any yet !
Summary: I received the phone and set it up within minutes. The original charge time is 6 hours, so while it was charging, I read the book that came with it. The phone is loaded with functions and all very easy to program. The message tone is clear and the volume adjustable from the base unit..you can use the charger or the phone to check messages. This phone is easily adapted to hanging on any wall surface. I would highly recommend the phone.

Strengths: NA
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: Panasonic has always been a durable brand for me. With the recent clearance on this set at Staples, I couldn't pass up the bargain. It's nice because it's 5.8 GHz and has the digital answering machine. If you can find this phone for around $30, it is definitely a bargain and more than worth the price!

Strengths: 5.8, very clear, long range, speakerphone
Weaknesses: Handset could be a little bigger
Summary: 2006-02-22 16:34:39 Old panasonic 2.4 phone was acting up so I needed a new phone to replace it. Found this for a great price and decided to buy it. Easy to setup and while working, the phone is clear and full of features. It is nice having the caller ID on the phone itself; my old panasonic didn't have this. Answer machine works nicely too. Very recommended.

Strengths: Extensive range and good clarity
Weaknesses: Record quality a bit inferior
Summary: Switched to 5.8 GhZ (my second 5.8 after Uniden). Overall a good product with features - long range and clarity over distance. Can set the ringer off and the antenna lights up (do it during night).
With small product the dis-advantage is smaller button (some users may find it annoying).
Expected a crisp recording - slight disappointment.

Strengths: Appears very well built and ergonomics seem well though out.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: The Panasonic KX-TG5431S 5.8 gHz spread spectrum technology wireless phone with integrated digital answering machine seems to be a very well though out and well manufactured integrated cordless phone and answering machine.
5.8 gHz frequency means it shouldn't interfere with 802.11b/g wireless computer networks and is also supposed to increase signal range for the handset.
Unit itself is very, very small, but looks quite good resting on a kitchen counter top. Argueably, the hand set could be a little bit bigger (it seems like a large cell phone), but it has a flat bottom with speakerphone feature, so can be used handsfree while cooking.
Only used it for a couple days, but really does seems like an extremely nice unit and price was very fair for this combination of features and 5.8 gHz digital signal.
