The ram it comes with is rather low to run Vista though, so I highly recommend upgrading to at least 2GB. The Pentium Dual Core chip is simply a Core 2 Duo with smaller cache ram, so its performance is still excellent. Make sure you download the latest Acer bios as several problems have recently been fixed. On the down side, I had a dead pixel right in the center of the screen and Acer refused to fix it.
